the lack of live multiplayer was what turned me off for versus mode so im super glad that it could happen

I think Robtop was more worrying about server costs but seeing globed is running ~1700 players with one server it seems likely. They could probably be fine with around 5-10 of those servers.

These servers should be run by the community just like the game Bombsquad, that game has Dedicated Server support so anyone can host servers from their Phone or PC, these have a ranking system and server moderators for every single server, bombsquad even has a version only for server hosting!

Dude I’ve been saying this for a long time but, Live Level Editor would be INSANE and game changing. Hanging out in a discord call with your co-creators and talking about the collab while also working on the level with them would be insane.

the collaboration between globed and robtop is the first of his team, he moves on and adds geode team, then adds more people like spu7nix, maybe alphalaneous for some mods (official mods) for the game

1:35 I think is bug of Node IDs (The API for UI in Geode) I know the screenshot was made with a modded GD because of the Globed Loading, that makes the bug easier to screenshot

Not going to lie, I would be happy if versus mode would be delayed to 2.3 and we would get explorers. And if it does get delayed to 2.3 first robtop would make the update without versus mode and then he would hire someone to work with him and that person knows how to make online multiplayer. That would be the best update for gd

Because although they don't have any computer, Freddy Fivebears and Chica the Kitchen could program themselves to play multiplayer because they're made of wires and metal.
