I honestly love how you expressed yourself in this video. You weren't being mean or harsh or rude or anything. You were being honest, insightful, and real. I feel like youtubers try to make us believe how hard is they're job. yes work in KZbin is easy, what's hard is what you do outside KZbin, and what you choose to do as a profession, because KZbin is just a job.

If you go above and beyond what you have to do and challenge yourself, it's not going to be easy, regardless the job. Claudia could put out one video a week, but she goes above and beyond to deliver quality content while managing two channels.

Not for youtubers that actually try (Claudia, Bethany, ???), but there are many youtubers that have a million subscribers and post only hauls twice a month. I could do that, even though I have mountains of work. KZbinrs that drop out of school to do 2 shit videos a month, and then go on all these vacations, and shop 24/7, their job is easy. Claudia is a sweet youtuber, but KZbin compared to going through years of schooling to struggle is a bliss. no hate to Claudia, I know she explained this in the video.

KZbin isn't an easy job but it's almost unfair how much money youtubers make because so many other people your age work just as hard (or harder) but make minimum wage. So it's easy to judge youtubers who make 6 figures and have enough time and money to shop and eat out all the time. KZbin isn't what it used to be, you don't earn money unless you put in money to make it work and that's simply not an option for low income or even middle class families. Ok I completely understood what you were saying in your vlog yesterday, I understand you get tired of vlogging sometimes, and I do think you work really hard, but you're saying you don't have to put in this extra work but you do because you want to and you're a hard worker, but you still get paid for this extra work you do, you decide how much work you want to put into your job and that dictates how much money you earn, if someone works cleaning a restaurant they might decide to do better and try harder because they want the people in the restaurant to be happier, but they don't earn anything for that, they're just a hard worker, or someone who works an office job might decide to put forth extra effort and do the best they can for the company because they're a hard worker, but they will always earn the same amount of money, what you said is like a waitress saying I could just sit on my phone the whole time and not care about my customers that would make my job easier but I chose to try my best, but obviously her trying her best would earn her more money so it's not like she's trying her best just because she works hard, I understand if she said she's tired and sometimes doesn't feel like working but I don't understand when she says I try really hard even though I'm not forced to, you make more money with every vlogmas video you put out and it's not as if you would put out these videos and work this hard if these videos didn't make you any money, also even that you say that you're trying hard even though you don't have to is already a privilege you get with the job you have, people should let go of saying that you tubers have it so easy, but you also should realize it isn't that easy for you but you still have infinite options to make your job how you want and you are getting money for the extra work you put into it while most others don't.

Some people find vlogging and posting every day is tedious. Some people don't and really enjoy it. I think it's quality versus quantity for some. but everyone is different. There are some with you tubers who daily vlog who don't post really creative content on their main channel. Each KZbin or specializes in something that makes them unique. If he KZbin or is used to treating main channel videos and they thrive in that kind of environment then maybe documenting their whole day could be overwhelming to them and that is totally OK. maybe it's not the element that they work best in. But just because everyone is different you can't just label everyone as either lazy or whatever

Yes, she can decide when she films her own videos but she has a schedule to follow when it comes to work outside of her channels. I would agree and say that she is one of the more hard working youtubers out there because of the effort she puts into her channels and whatnot. But, that does not mean her job is very difficult and hard. My point about her shoes (I should of explained) is that most people will never be able to afford luxury items like that in their life. Yes she films and edits everyday and it can be tedious but lets be real, what was she doing most of the time in the videos? KZbinrs are creative and have created a brand for themselves that they can market and make profit of - good for them. I can guarantee that most of the time, they are not working 40+ hours a week or wondering where there next paycheck is going to come from.

KZbin definitely is not easy. I have a channel and I know there have been videos that took me 8 hours to edit, ppl think its easy work but its not. in business you would get paid for those hours and youtubers do which is fair. This was honestly sad to listen to because I've watched Claudia before she moved to L.A. And she became more known to KZbin, and for people to say she doesn't work hard makes me so angry because she honestly has one of the most creative channels on KZbin and that's why I was drawn to her, she's inspiring and just a beautiful person in general. I totally agree with you and think that many viewers underestimate the amount of time and effort put into being a content creator, especially one that branches out of KZbin. But I do think it's also important that some KZbinrs make it known that their beginnings did come, somewhat, from things being handed to them. Just starting a youtube channel takes a certain amount of capital and time, one that is more commonly avaliable to people who already come from a well off upbringing. I think it would help a lot of the younger viewers to have that known and made aware.

I was actually thinking the opposite too, you seemed much happier in LA, you seemed motivated and upbeat but I think doing things keeps you upbeat and since now you live in LA, and your job is there, going back to Chicago for the holidays it maybe just feels like a vacation or a break and thats why you were feeling down

honestly i think anyone who gave you hate just doesn't understand fully. I watched your vlog yesterday and I completely understood that vlogging everyday is a challenge and of course its going to be nice to not have to record EVERY SINGLE DAY. I feel like the people who don't understand is because they themselves don't make videos and me being a film major, i understand how much work and time goes into every single video you make. I was even saying to myself before you made the comment, "man, having to film, edit and upload every single day would drive me crazy" and its so normal for someone to just want a break and just relax without worrying about their job. I can't help but feel that that comment was accurate, she does have an easy life. I'm not implying that she should be nice to everyone and happy all the time and stuff, I'm just pointing out that there are people out there who have to put up with really extenuating jobs just so their families have something to eat. My point is, it's okay to admit that you have an easy life and things are given to you, just don't go around pretending that that's an insult and that things aren't that way.

And comparing making KZbin videos with a college graduate job is really offensive. Yes, you may spend al lot of time and effort on your videos but you're not paying tuition for 5+ years (duration of college where I'm from) and putting up with a boss and shifts and schedules and all the other things that come along with a traditional job. Oh, and please don't use the excuse that you like to work extra and put extra effort and such, YOU STILL GET PAID FOR MAKING EXTRA VIDEOS. Other people (who do not 'choose' to have traditional jobs, in most cases it's their only choice) may work hard and work extra hours and still get paid a minimum wage. Honey, appreciate that you have it easy, but don't offend those who don't.

I could not agree with you more! I a final year uni student, studying in the UK. I love my family, home and school friends but I am most happy at uni, working away and being busy. Home is quiet, slower and I find I become lazier about everything! It's not that this is bad - it's simply enjoying the life you have made for yourself, with new friends and new adventures! Xx
