Ride your Diabetes tells the story of a passionate amateur mountain biker who becomes ill and, in order to fight against his disease, takes on the athletic challenge of participating in and completing - with no prior experience - the Mountain of Hell, one of the most significant enduro mountain biking competitions in the world, riding his faithful hardtail mountain bike.
Beyond the athletic challenge, this project aims to raise awareness and support for individuals living with type 1 diabetes, or those who have just been diagnosed, by bringing them together through the practice of enduro/downhill mountain biking. My goal is to show that diabetes should not be a barrier to fully engaging in sports and enjoying life, and that mountain biking transcends limits and difficulties to become a platform for sharing and encouragement.
