I always felt the same way. I was born in 1963 and most parents back then were not hands on as much as many parents today but my Daddy ,he was very very much hands on and that's the way I was with my three babies .I also held them all the time ,even when they were asleep .I would just hold them and stare at how amazing they were ,their tiny hands ,knocked ,tiny nose and tiny feet ,it's amazing isn't it ,how this little person grows and forms inside your tummy ,a real miracle and I wanted to savor every second because Lord knows ,they grow up so so fast. My children r 38 ,34 and 30 now and I still see them almost everyday and they were strong confident amazing children and now ,as adults and parents themselves now and I get to pamper for Grandchildren ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Babies don't move around a lot during the day time because as you are walking around you are actually rocking the baby in your belly. But you lay down for bed then then the baby wakes up and starts moving like crazy. And right now all of his needs are being met. He doesn't feel hungry because he is being fed 24/7 through the cord. He is being carried everywhere, right next to your heart. The same heart he has been hearing for 40 weeks. It's familiar, it's warm, it's safe, and you are loved more than you will ever know until one day you become a Dad.😊

Go with your gut. 99% of those things you don't need and will never use. If you don't sleep with a noise machine he doesn't need to either. Quite and no lights always worked for me. He will give you signs of what he needs and wants.

Ha,ha,ha,ha! You will see how he handle his crying! And how your heart crack by it! We have four children, our little last one! She was so tender, she cry when she was happy, she see her ‘Papa’ walking in from work she wept like no tomorrow! She cry every day , before going to school, before entering the school bus! She learn to cry in silence ! Only the big wet tears drops on her chubby cheeks! The bus driver, ask her Why are crying! She will say “ I miss my papa! “ the bus driver after three years he told my husband that after all his years of driving a bus, he never encounter a child that loved her papa that much! She also cry happy tears, because she was going back home to see her papa! She cry for her pet mouse! She cry at beautiful moments, she smile a lot ! She is a happy person. She cry when someone say goodbye , to a love one at her work! She is a flight attendant! She turn out to be a secure little girl! When she turn to be in grade 3, one day she say the hardest thing for her it’s to say “GOODBYE”. She is now an adult, she is close to all of us and so still a very tender soft woman. Her “Papa” still a Solf spot for her! She married now… her husband is also like her papa in many ways! She is a mix, she look like my beautiful mother in law, she is tiny and delicate like my mom, she have beautiful long brown curly dark hair and big round hazel eyes! She have is spanish culture , she is French like me and she was raise in English Canadian prairies! Then even that , Henrique cry a lot or not! He will be love, he will be embrace for who he is and he will be support with wisdom and guide in all where he will go! Hugs him as much as , you want! As long that love reign in your household, and good sense wisdom he will be good! Our little daughter , she was the youngest of four! All children are different , but parents we learned to adapted to every children! We loved them all! The joy in this life, is rare ! And to preserved it and to guard it, we need strong parents to keep the right mind regarding , their children! Your home will be glorious! ❤😊😂❤ By the way, ENRIQUE is here Papa, name!

Not everything you read will be right for your baby. It’s the authors opinion. Your baby will let you know what he likes. Don’t follow those instructions to the letter as every baby is different and you will most likely get frustrated if he doesn’t respond as it says in the books. Junior’s grandmothers ideas of looking after your son is just as good as what’s dictated in those audio book. Just relax and love your son and you will do really well.❤️

Ana are you nervous for delivery or excited or both? Just remember birth plans rarely go as planned. One piece of advice I’ll give (because none of my plans went as I wanted) focus on what will get YOU through any situation. Like what will calm you, give you strength etc..

Let me tell you that if you had a nursery unless you have a Nanny too you won’t use a nursery! That baby will never be far from you! Your age makes a difference but it’s a first baby! lol my baby slept in a Bassett right next to me easy access to get to feed breast fed baby! Bassinet easy to move around. We moved to a bigger house had a crib in our room but made up a nice little sleeping area on couch in room with me! You won’t leave that baby in a room alone! There is nothing wrong with that! My first baby slept in her own bed in my room for a while partly because of lack of room. I didn’t ever move any of the kids alone until they were ready. They knew they were loved and that they could hear us breath! My grandkids slept in bassinet or crib in room with Mom. As I got older and I was divorced I had one granddaughter who couldn’t sleep alone she cried even sharing a room with siblings! She would come every night Grammy can I sleep with you! So let them be stable and choose! When she was ready for her own bed and room it was ready and she went in her own! We live where there can be very loud thunderstorms and I will wake up and find her there. Always saying she is sorry! No sorry need God made me to be there for any baby! You do you but you will be fine with no nursery! It’s just a room a room that is away from you!

I love your comments on this dedicated Henrique video to look back on as he grows up! I have to tell you I've bought mustela baby bath oil and I couldn't even use it. The scent was unbearably strong and our daughter's dermatologist advised against fragrance products for my baby who had eczema since 2.5 months old. I used mustela belly oil and didn't get any stretch marks. Try using QV baby if you have it in US.

I remember one at 3yrs my 2 child got very quiet while playing. I slowly went to investigate. He he was with the cape I made for my boys around his neck. Push a chair to the open window 1 foot in 1 foot out 1 arm in 1 arm out tge window. Calmly almost singing I said Joey what are you doing. He said I wanted to fly down to the pool. He came inside at this point. While closing the window I said Joey why dont you go down and tell daddy what you were trying to do. In the meantime got rid of the chair. Next thing you Dad is coming into the room with a drill an 2 screws. Setting the windows so they open very partilly. We knew not to stress, he was not to blame, I just glad I used my instincts with sounds of the home and my children. Thankful this turned out okay!

I can't wait to meet Henrique! This child will be so loved. Ana & Junio, you have gone to great lengths to welcome him; you're so prepared. What shines thru, what I believe will make a HUGE impact on your son - he will learn to love as he watches a mom & dad show love to each other! Children mimic what they see. Henrique will be aware, from the very beginning, what love is. Ana, there is no instructional for raising a baby. Yes, there are loads of books. But does that mean the information will help or hurt your son. You are both so loving and considerate of each other. Henrique will pick up on that. Your love will teach him what love is and learn to love and be a good person. It will be natural bc Ana & Junio love natural and honestly. I am so excited to see this baby!! Follow your instincts, and the rest will follow 😊💜💜💜

You got this was a nurse who took care of baby right after born! Just don’t focus on outside stuff or the way you think it “should” be let be what you need and want!

Everything looks beautiful. Since your new parents 2 little pieces of advice. First baby boys need lotion as well as girls. They get dry as well. It can be put allover. 2 don't be afraid to wash his hair. He can get cradle cap. Oh one more thing don't bathe the baby with baby wipes. Of course you can wash his face and hands when you're out. You're going to be the best parents.
