What goes up must come down - and down, and down, and down at incredibly dizzying speeds on the Drop Tower, among our guests’ favourite rides. Your Drop Tower experience begins by strapping into an open car, feet dangling, and spending what feels like an infinity ascending 230 feet into thin air to the peak, taking in a gorgeous view of the park. But trust us, you won’t enjoy that view for very long. Before another thought can enter your brain, the ride releases and you drop -- you plunge -- you are completely emptied into a free fall of over 21 stories, reaching frenetic speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour before the brakes kick in and - did that really happen? - you’re at the bottom and back to normal. But, know this: after riding the Drop Tower, you’re never truly normal again.
Towering at 230 feet (70.1M), Drop Tower is the same height as Behemoth; only Leviathan and WindSeeker are taller than this extreme thrill!

When I was a kid, Drop Zone was the hardest ride for me to "face the fear" and finally ride. Loved it ever since tho.

The instructor for me went "welcome to the peak of the drop tower, you will be dropped in 99, 98, 97, 5 4 3 2 1" and then dropped us. It was amazing.

It's a lot more tame as a ride compared to Leviathan. Though the vertical lift is an unusual sensation.

Excellent !!! The camera should be able to bend lower so you can see the ground on this one while falling. I'm glad all the rides are finally getting the POV make sure you do the kids too so the children can get an idea in case they're too scared to try a ride. Somebody's been listening to my previous suggestions ?

this is the one ride that I dreaded to go on and never went on at wonderland because I just don't like the falling feeling on a drop tower but I'm planning to go to wonderland this summer if the cases are low enough and if I'll go on the drop tower and who knows maybe I'll enjoy it

I remember going to the CNE and decided to go on the drop tower with my dad. I was like, hey this is a nice view, at the top. I was starting to wonder when it was going to drop. Then, straight from a Tv show right after I ask my dad, it drops. I am never going on a drop tower again

I know the park lost the Paramount theming, but I still think they could've kept the name Drop Zone without any references to the movie itself. Kings Island still has Congo Falls considering they lost the rights to the movie Congo.

I want to get over my fear of roller coasters. Tried youtube videos, pov helped a bit but not enough to make me go on leviathan. I tried wooden one and that terrified me

I'd advise sticking with steel coasters to help get over your fear if you're trying - wooden coasters feeling so shaky and unrestrained can make them a lot scarier. The Back Lot ride (formerly Italian Job) may be a good introduction to them for you as it never gets too high off the ground. Thunder Run is another steel coaster that will never flip you upside down that might be fun for you - a lot of it is inside the 'Mountain' which means you dont see as many of the drops etc; not sure if that's good or bad for you. Vortex doesnt get too tall and offers great scenery, but most hanging coasters are very bumpy and I'm not sure if youd like to be swung sideways even if you aren't going upside down. Otherwise remember the scariest part is climbing the opening hill. It's awesome that you're here looking at coasters and going at your fears.

Here's a fun thing to do: sit right in front of the exit (this works best if you're seated with teenagers who are trying to be tough) and keep a straight face the whole time, as soon as it's over, undo your safety and walk off immediately I do this all the time and it's funny to do this next to teenagers who are screaming their heads off

No they're absolutely safe unlike topple Tower from Marineland that one topples alot but they took it down so you have nothing to worry about

Bro I remember when I was like seven in the first time I went to Canada‘s Wonderland was so amazing and I remember on the last ride that I was allowed to go on was the leviathan it was like when I was seven or something and for some reason ever since the leviathan i just think I used to be a daredevil now I’m just always scared to go on rides for some reason but yeah

Actually this ride has nothing to do with the medieval theme it's more of a movie type of ride so it should've been placed in action zone since all of the rides in action zone are based on movies and the ride that should've been placed in medieval fair is antique carousel from action zone cause it has horses and chariots so that definitely goes with the medieval theme
