It's rough as hell but growing up with this and Mind Eraser has made me impervious to rough rides on all other coasters. It's like the Upstate NY winter - if you make it through, you can survive anything.

She's going to be 30 next summer she's not as pretty and smooth as she once was but she was always a summer romance I could not wait to spend time with all the way into the night when her lights would shine bright!! I told her I would never leave her she hurts me at times these days like love unfortunately does at times she was one of my first loves and I always will love her She'll always be 1991 in my eyes and we will always have that first time together which i will never forget!! 1:11 - 1:17 I can confirm now has titan track on the attraction. I rode the attraction on 6/3/2022. This section is so much smoother than the rest of the ride. Hope they do more sections like this!

I was at Six Flags yesterday on a concert trip for Maryvale. What a coincidence! This was the third-to-last ride I rode before we had to pack up and go home. I will say one thing, it was terrifying for me. But my friend who rode with me, not so much. Still kinda cool tho, it reminds me of the Predator from the movies, aka the Yautja.

This should be the next wooden roller coaster at a Six Flags park to get the Rocky Mountain Construction renovation. Other rides include the Boss at Six Flags St. Louis, (maybe or maybe not) the Monster at La Ronde, and Roar at Six Flags America (unless they allow Great Coasters International to retract it and replace the current trains with Millennium Flyers).

I remember the summer this was added it was such a big deal for Darien Lake and buffalo for that matter we just always had the Viper till then I remember the commercials for this ride on the Pepsi cans it was I remember the wait was over two hours I remember how smooth this ride once was now I'm not sure how I refuse to go on it last time I did I couldn't stand up straight for a week

This ride is pretty violent. Back in around early 2016 I know somebody who's dad got a heart attack after riding this, though. He had minor underlying health conditions that usually wouldn't have contributed to such a thing, but it gave him a heart attack within 24 hours after he rode this ride and only this. Still to say though, it's pretty violent and it can give you a headache from the constant whipping you around. Probably just a trend with wooden roller coasters, but still, this ride gave somebody a heart attack.

I'm having 'Nam type flashbacks to when I rode this Coaster with my sister and her then boyfriend a few decades ago. That air time freaked me out so much because I have a fear of heights and I get dizzy spells. Didn't go on anymore coasters after that. Just stuck to my favorite rides like the Bumper Cars and Merry Go Round.

On a field trip, this was the first ride my friend and I went on and I was determined go on it as soon as we walked in the park. I was the one who started hyperventalating waiting in line before we starting moving. At the begging I was "this isn't so bad" and was having fun. but when we were going up the first hill, i started feeling nervous. As we went zooming down, everyone was screaming and my brain was like "I should do that too." but when I tried to open it, the pressure made it so i couldnt open it and I mentally freaked out in silence. we went up the next hill and as it slowed down i got my mouth open, but as we went down, my mouth wasn't releasing any screams. my friend was looking at my while screaming of joy, and she saw the terror in my eyes as i pointed at my mouth showing I cant move my mouth, and stopped scream and died of laughter even after we were walking off the ride. And that's the story of how I almost had a heart attack on this death machine. also it seemed a lot longer when I was on it. maybe thats because my whole life was busy flashing before me. Can't wait to ride it next time I go :D I haven't learned my lesson the first, I guess. I said i woudnt go back on, but I wanna go back on it now.

Back when Herschend was running the park there was a survey asking if people were interested in a “re-imagined version of Predator called Lake Monster” with a picture of Outlaw Run. You connect the dots… Just another lost opportunity when CNL Properties wouldn’t sell just Darien Lake to Herschend. I’ve always said this ride would be prime for topper track with slight reprofiling and new trains, call it Apex Predator. That would’ve been an even better name a few years ago as a dig towards Fantasy Island’s (awful) owners.

Went on the Predator today after hearing about the titan retrack, its no longer painful to ride. The track is super smooth throughout 90% of it, only the final section of track and the beginning track before the lift hill is still original and a bit rough, but still, a night and day difference compared to before, where it felt like you had a concussion riding it. Give it a try!

What about just retracking it with ibox and not adding the infamous upside down barrel rolls that all RMCs add? It's a great layout as is, just too bumpy and rough. Adding the barrel rolls would take away from the classic woodie feel of it.

I think this coaster is a good woody and is highly underrated. In my opinion, I think peeps complain to much about this awesome coasters roughness and over exaggerate it's roughness. Yes "Predator" is rougher then the majority, theirs no denying that, but in my opinion and from my experience, it is NOT unbearably rough. I found it to be re-ridable. What did it for me with "Predator" is the airtime. I really enjoyed "Predators" airtime. It's an air time machine. Tho I like this awesome Woody, I agree with almost everyone else, please bring RMC in to give it's hybrid treatment and put Six Flags Darien Lake back on the map
