I DID IT!!! after memorizing the color combination of most keys I was able to get familiarized with their right location and also the ridges that should be aligned! It takes time but I was decided to accomplish this on my own. Muscle memory, tried the white many times until it was fast so easy to do and moved to the secon layer edges memorization and so on.. now to work on the time to solve it hahaha it went from days to now like 20 minutes.. it is super tricky, congratulations on this achievement!! amazing puzzle!!!!!!

For a second there, I was like why did rubik's copy the 2 face cube? Then, I remembered that Greg was the guy who came up with it. I bought the stickers from Oliver's about a year ago and this is one of my fav puzzles in my collection. This one is always eye catching and now I can solve it in around 5 mins or so (Avg 30s for normal) I'm really glad your mass producing your puzzles. thanks for creating these for us!

wait you designed this monstrosity? Amazing. Definitely the best/hardest "difficult-through-obfuscation" rubiks cube, or any of my twist puzzles for that matter, i've ever had (never tried the ghost cube though, which is what i compare it to in my mind). worked on it for a few hours, now came looking for some tips since it was scrambled before i was able to really get a good play around with it.

I solved mine with one problem. The “blue white” piece doesn’t sit vertically on the blue side. Is it possible that the blue sticker was put on wrong? All other pieces are transitioning at the same time. Please tell me if I’m missing something or doing something wrong. Thanks.

HAH! I JUST sent an email to Oliver's stickers asking them if they were working with Rubik's on this puzzle. I forgot that this was your design Gregg! When I saw this at walmart yesterday I bought one immediately, and sat down to compare the pattern to your lenticular stickers which I bought a while back. When I saw that the pattern matched your design EXACTLY, I KNEW something had to be up. I am really glad to see that this design was picked up by Rubik's officially. congratulations man.

Just solved it, this video helped immensely! The idea that there's two of every piece and I needed to line up the ridges helped most. To those struggling, keep at it, it will take hours but you'll understand it better by the end and it will be faster in the future. You most likely don't have a manufacturing issue and yes the colors can seem weird at times, but trust the process. Greg, amazing job on this cube! Such a fun puzzle, that isn't just a gimmick, but a legitimately new challenge!

I found something extremely weird while learning this cube: There is some sort of 'parity'. Now, I KNOW how parities work, and a 3x3 can't actually HAVE a parity, but basically I couldn't solve the cube ( similar to how a parity makes it impossible) WITHOUT aligning the centers. I have no idea why this would matter or how it would change anything, but once I made sure that they were aligned correctly, I was actually able to solve it. Can anyone explain this?

I have figured a way to solve both sides of the stickers. Only thing is one way is not going to look solved but it will be solved looking at it at different angles. Impossible to make them transition into one color like this tutorial here in the 2nd solved side. Definitely harder but much funner and works out your brain makes you feel like a god after you complete it. Badass Rubik’s cube man it’s going to be hard to top this one!

I had some issues first with OLL, then with PLL as well. Did you figure out the tricky pieces? I had to flip/swap a few things to be able to solve it. If you're having a hard time trying to solve the impossible, I recommend getting another cube and using it as a reference, this scramble gives you the "alternative state" of the solved impossible: D2 B2 R2 B2 U F2 D B2 L D' F' D' B' U' F' D2 B2 D' B' R Spoilet alert: if you want to find it out for yourself, don't scroll down to the end of my comment. If you're having last layer issues, here are some problem edges. orange/blue can be flipped in place green/orange and blue/red can be swapped yellow/red and blue/yellow can be swapped

If you look directly at a face the transition angle is not the same one direction to the other, each cube has only one correctly rotated angle, similar to a picture or shape mod cube. Red is the only face-on transition on the cube.

I ran into a parity in the last layer that had 2 corners in place and 2 corners that needed to be swapped (I was using the beginners method for the entire solve). Any idea on how to solve this parity?

I can make a continuous pattern on a three by three that goes from corner to corner all the way around the cube. As far as I know, it requires cube disassembly. Can you complete the pattern without disassembling the cube?

Someone gifted this to me for International Women’s Day & I’ve never even tried to solve a regular RC previously, so try being a beginner solving an impossible cube lol. Im going to guess that all the transition lines will match up with everything else on that face when its solved right? Either mines is a "misprint" because my anchor white edge can either match the center or anchor corner, but not both depending on if I match it up with red or blue.

I bought a 2nd one for a reference to solve, my scrambled cube has white/green and yellow/green edges flip flopped. The yellow and green faces look like they're solved but the white side is definitely showing a green and yellow edge. Pieces that are flip flopped are a green and yellow / green and white edge and a yellow and white / green and orange edge. The green and yellow / green and white edge needs to be on the yellow face side. The yellow and white / green and orange edge needs to be on the white face side. Is this some kind of manufacturing defect or do I have to start my entire solve over to fix this problem? (Sorry if this is a confusing explanation, it's nearly "impossible" to explain 🥴)

You have to restart bro, it usually means parody but you can’t get parody in 3x3 (unless void cube or something weird like that) so you did something wrong with the second layer

I think it has stickers, but it's on a kind of a "pit", so there's plastic around the stickers so your fingernails won't get under it when solving.
