Great Review! I was facing this feeling the bumps problem, but then i checked the tire pressure and adjusted to 28 Psi as per the manual, now i dont feel the bumps anymore...default showroom pressure was 36Psi also, the seats can be reclined, regarding, the underpower issue, we compared it with a friends Prado 2.7 in a drag race and the Prado is more underpowered than Fortuner, i used the paddle shifters and the car does really well.

it was solved on my first 1000 check by Toyota, they removed the silicon in the doors for the drainage of water

Just a few facts about this car. Toyota Fortuner is Based on Toyota Hilux. The Ground clearance is 225mm while Toyota Hilux is 275mm. The steering padels are useful for a long down hill run with lots of bends. It relieves overuse of the brakes. When towing you can only use the first 4 gears on a downhill decent according to the instruction manual. Using 5th and 6th is not effective and may cause damage to the vehicle. That's when you engage shift selection in the auto. When in drive all 6 gears are available. I have no regrets buying this car as its a great looking and great quality car. It's comfortable and very reliable and it's got a style that seems to be timeless like the old 4Runner or Surf. By the way; Fortuner means surf in Greek.

car is not underpowered compared to prado which uses the same 2.7 engine and is 80 kg heavier.How can u say prado is powerful? and otherwise who would want to run a 2600 kg suv around the local street and when u want good acceleration change to power mode turn 4 by 4 on for good launch and use the paddle shifters then u cn find out if its underpowered. seats to recline pls make a correction video on the same fortuner to change ur views about the car and to me this review was 80%negative and 20% positive

Hamza Iqbal Both this and the Prado are insanely underpowered. Gorgeous car but the engine capacity has fucked everything up. That’s the only thing that has stopped a lot of potential buyers. Even with full settings and launch control with the paddle shifters, it has a 0-100 time of 13 seconds which is complete shit. It’s a horrible car to drive and it just gets annoying on long distances. Then again, for this price point, it’s decent.

Asad Ahmad I actually own this car.I know it's not powerful but I think it's adequate.Btw 0-100 is 12sec. AND IT'S NOT A BAD CAR TO DRIVE.Go on and get a test drive pls.Though the power does not make u smile.But prado has a 0-100 time of 13.5sec.So I think fortuner is better.

Fortuner is all time four wheel drive so the power is consumed but prado has a different chassis, shape and there is a 4by4 OPTION

Hello. Can you please explain the difference when using paddle shifters in D and also in S. When you are driving the fortuner in D and press any paddle shifter it shows D1 Upto D4 or D5. And when you have it in S it shows S1 to S6. What is the difference between D1 and S1?

S is sports mode where the gear ratio is shorter which is why you can go to higher gears

I like all your videos, which are very professional and well specified. One question: do you drive in comfort with the flip-flops, or do you prefer to drive barefoot? Personally I find myself better, and in greater feeling driving barefoot, but obviously it is a personal feeling.

Its all about habit, I cannot drive barefoot, but I can drive with any type of shoes on, formals, flip flops, sneakers whatever

Yes, that's right, it's about habits. From me, the road code allows you to drive barefoot or in flip-flops, although I believe that the flip-flops are dangerous, not being footwear that bind the heel and therefore can be unthread from the foot during driving. While driving barefoot, I personally find an excellent feeling with the pedal board. Especially driving a manual car. For the use of the clutch, in particular.

Mr OmerArshad, you are reviewing an SUV, and you don't know what a Diff locker is. Moreover, when you review an SUV you take it offroad and check it's capability, you don't run it on the roads, it is a bloody SUV a 4*4 and is supposed to perform offroad as well. Next time you do a review do brush up on your offroad skills and give more info on what are the 4*4 features, what it can and can't do. Watch some international vloggers.

For reviewing an SUV you must (must) know ins and outs of an SUV. Subscribe to Ronny Dahl kzbin.info/www/bejne/iZK9gqOJZZqEg9U he does excellent reviews and teachs for all kind of SUV controls. What you were calling as a disengage button is actually a Rear Diff locker that controls the power distribution to rear tyres, you can easily read about diff locking. You did not review anything at all even verbally on it's 4*4 capabaility, neither did you show how to switch between 2*4 and 4*4 modes. No discussion on L4 and H4 and when to use which one. If a new owner watches your video I am sure he would be lost for use of 4*4 and it's utility. The SUV was reviewed like a Passenger car, I know 90% of ppl buy it like one but then you have hard core offroaders who do buy this vehicle as well (now in Diesel variant) for its offroad capability. Hope the above helps you to improve the next SUV review. Cheers!

Indian Rupee is for 1.75 Pakistani so if the car is for 3.8 mil in India then as per conversion it would cost 6.6 mil in Pak Rupee but its for 5.5 mil which is 3.1 mil INR

I think it's a good thing. If you're gonna buy a car and are watching a review about it, you want to know everything you can about it. You can't just close one eye and focus on the good things only, and eventually suffer or even start blaming the people who's reviews you watched for not telling you the bad things.
