I grew up on this show and I also put my husband on. We have been watching 10 episodes a night for the last 3 years. We go to sleep to it. We laugh at every joke as if it's the first time we've seen it. We have watched this show so much that I now "tawk" like Carrey, complete with the New York accent and my husband has morphed into that "Onionion" guy. Which is strange because my husband is European and I am African and we live in Central Europe. RIP our lovely King Jerry Stiller, the man murdered every line. Every time we're sad , we literally youtube 'Best of Arthur Spooner'. Sometimes we KZbin it while watching the show so we have to KOQs happening at the same time! Deacon was so great because he was the voice of sense and I loved that he was funny in his own way, he wouldn't try to compete for funnies. I honestly adored Spence the weirdo. Such a rare breed and sooo funny in his weirdness! I couldn't stand Danny at times and that's why he was so perfect for the role I think, so hateable and yet I would feel so bad for him because Doug was a meanie sometimes. When I watched this reunion I loved that I could feel they were actually a family. A prroper family who loved each other. No cattiness, no nothing, just love and respect for each other's craft! Also, I can not believe I left out Holly (also my fave)! Holly the absolutely hilarious sweet-man-crazed daughter of a glue addict ! Correct me if I am wrong but I think Holly was the purest and kindest character.

This show really was a great half hour of comedy. Never politics or making a silly stand. Just laughs with always a good feeling ending in every episode. Kevin James once said in an interview he wanted a show like the Honeymooners 😆

That's what I loved about it. In the Heffernan household, there was no big government or scary politics or beating people over the head trying to change their mind about 'issues'. It was just a great warm and loving show that felt like you were stepping into a real family and sharing that kitchen and living room with them and going to work with Doug at IPS. The chemistry was fantastic between the characters and truly laugh-out-loud lines every episode.

Arthur coming out of the hot tub (naked I think) says to Doug “it’s called gravity and it’s coming your way” 🤣 Arthur used between Doug/Carrie vs Deacon/wife as he goes back and forth between them each having him do something to the other couple more obnoxious than the last. Pure gold. 🤣 Doug tricking Carrie into pole dancing lessons...later regretting it. 🤣 Doug turned off by her hair in a bun. (She loves it) 🤣 and then Carrie and her “Halle berry” hair cut 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Best. Show. Ever. (I’ll be writing more when I remember more 😂😂)

It took me years to watch this show. I finally watched from start to finish back in 2016. What led me watch it was after watching a few movies with Kevin James who is now one of my favorite actors. My husband and I have been watching this show for almost 20 years and will never stop. We have our favorite lines that are our go-to in certain situations and to make each other laugh. Cures my depression and anxiety or at least lessens it. Thank you, Kevin, Leah, Jerry, Victor, and all the others and the writers and producers. Great, great show.
