The theme mentions a lot of the past: It has the defeat theme because you know your time is up. It has the beginning much like the gladiator event. It has the pace of the area 51 event, because now Fallen king is back stronger, and much more quick. It has the guitar from krampus' rage because the fallen king is getting as powerful as a demon straight from the deep pits of hell. It has the drums from mechanical rot, because Fallen king is tired of your games. It gives you the hopelessness you have deep inside of your soul like duck d00m and its' theme. *This will be your greatest challenge yet, and possibly the last one you'll ever face.*

Coming back to this theme, sharing my memories. Circuits spawning, lightning striking, my eyes trying to follow them as I pleaded for them to not be on the final bend before the exit... Watching the Templar zoom past, then abruptly stop to stun everything, Worrying about the Summoner Bosses summoning more Circuits while already being boosted, and Wave 40... everything everywhere, chat in chaos, towers at every clearing, and a row of Amalgamations, Splitters and a Circuit approaching fast, ramming through the Railgun Tanks, while NFK rains acid all over the Outlaws. Selling and replacing of John for the Gorilla Noises whenever it was stunned, and a Circuit taking advantage of the Outlaw's slow firerate to zip past and make us lose, and 'gg's and 'NOOOOOO's from my teammates.

this is one of my favourite songs in TDS. Would have been cool to have a hazmat or nuclear DJ using drums of nuclear waste as drums using this song as its default song. i did draw a concept of it in a book of mine, it has metal pipes for drumsticks, and the stage it uses is rusty and broken

I remember hearing this theme for the first time, and having pure adrenaline surging through my veins as I realized that the final boss was going to be the most memorable fight in my whole time playing the game, not only was it brutally hard, it was extremely rewarding to see his HP drop to 0. I don't think TDS will ever capture that feeling ever again, and I'm fine with that, I just wish it was still playable. Polluted Wasteland II just isn't the same, in a way I thought it was actually easier.

@@iamdead-ww4gj I actually didnt mind the circuit chaining that much, they always died before they could chain effectively. (I played pre-hardcore so Pursuits and Outlaws got rid of the circuits really fast) What made it hard was how shield operated back then. If an enemy had a shield value of 2, all incoming damage was lowered to a maximum of 2, if Outlaws were doing several hundred damage with a single shot, a shield value of 2 made them do 2 damage per shot. Nuclear Fallen King had a shield value that changed between 1, 3 and 5.

I remember when the boss came in. All i see was explosion from mortars and tank explosions cause of the lag. But the theme is what i like about this mode, sure it is hard to get to wave 40. But seeing NFK spamming stuns are the best moments and keep making us lose. 🗿🗿🗿
