What was happening at 5:00 when Dean said, “I give up, I surrender to you, I’ve totally fallen for you.” He was channeling Korn’s feelings, for Intouch. Remember, In was the one who chased Korn. That’s why they showed that flashback, of Korn Embracing In. That was the moment that Korn realized he fell. So Dean was overwhelmed, from the emotions. And started kissing, and groping him.

I just want to commend the part where in Dean respected Pharm's boundaries when he tried to kiss him but got pushed away, and the two talked about it maturely instead. (and hugged cutely afterwards uwu) Just a friendly reminder that even if you're in a relationship, you still have the rights to refuse your partner if you don't feel like it or get uncomfortable so don't try to pull the "but you're my lover I have the rights" card because CONSENT, UNDERSTANDING, and RESPECT are the keys to a healthy relationship!! 💯 💕

Can we just talk about how great it is that they have such a strong emphasis on the importance of consent and how ashamed Dean feels right away cause he knows it’s not okay to touch someone when they are feeling uncomfortable. I love the way the series handled the topic consent here. They show that consent is important (Dean asking before he kisses him and stopping when Pharm says no) and they also show that a no doesn’t need to „ruin the mood“ - Pharm feeding him is emotional and intimate, even without being sexual. They still express their love for each other without crossing boundaries

i really want to commend UWMA for being so progressive to actually incorporate and address CONSENT when they have a chance. it always made me uncomfortable and i just lost all interest when a certain BL completely disregard everything CONSENT stands for. the way some BL series is romanticizing sexual assault instead of actually addressing its issues really makes me sad. we need more shows that portrays healthy relationship instead of settling for a toxic one. Huge respect for UWMA for doing things right and future BL's should take notes!!

TharnType is a little iffy in the beginning I'll agree- although in the novel it's not as bad because you can hear Type's thoughts while it's happening. But the story and chemistry later on is so wonderful that I always find myself forgetting the problematic parts, oops. For me the Kengkla/Techno story in Love by Chance was just too f-ed up though it's a couple I'll never be able to support.

The problem that I have with consent in BL series is that it is never too clear where the rape ends and the consent begins, bc half the bottoms in these shows act like they don't want to do things even when they do. And sure that sounds wrong, but it is a stereotype that women and bottoms should act like they don't want something to make it look more appealing or whatever but tbh that is such bullshit to me, like I wouldn't be like that with my boyfriend. If you want it you better show it bc otherwise when you don't want it you will have to make it extra clear, and that is what upsets me in that scene. We have seen them kiss before, and sure Pharm kissed back for the most part but even then he looked reticent, kinda holding himself back with his arms and with a frown on his face. So when he said Dean's name the first time and he held his shoulder back I honestly wouldn't have known he wanted him to stop if it weren't for the tense music bc he has done that before. And I understand that he would be kinda upset that Dean didn't stop the first time, but I also understand why he wouldn't until he yelled. Idk might be just me

No means no, it doesn't matter if you're in a relationship, it's just wrong to do something your partner is not comfortable with, especially touching them when they are not prepared for that stage yet, not a lot of BL series/movies talk or even show a scene like this so i'm glad that UWMA is addressing this issue in a simple way. and there's the fact that in the novel, it was Dean who stopped himself from making things go too far and was ashamed of his actions, Pharm was shocked when he did it but still told to him it's okay and that he knew he wasn't in his mind when he did that, but also told to him not to do it again, although we know why Dean did that and it's because he doesn't want to confuse Korn who lives inside him with Intouch, he basically wants to remind Korn that Pharm is Pharm and that he belongs to him, not Korn, so he was basically having a slight battle with Korn in himself however, the message is still the same. Consent is a must in a relationship.

This show is a masterpiece. The warm lighting , soothing camera effects , serene ambience , befitting camera angles and ofc beautiful music along with exquisite acting contribute to making this drama into a magnificent visual and auditory experience. The execution really trumps everything. Taking a fantasy plot within a BL and actually selling that to the audience with all it's stunning intensity and emotional gravity is tough. But uwma is doing it , and hell , they're excelling. This drama will go down as an exceptional feat in the BL genre and one of the most well produced dramas to come out of Thailand in general.

Love your comment. The acting is really top notch for a BL, a genre that has had only a few acting talents involved. A pity, some fujoshis don't like, because most fans anticipate alot of skinship, and I love it too, but most emotional and social issues never got addressed. This has a supernatural theme, but it still handles issues like social stigma, family pressure, and after the reincarnation: consent, approval, acceptance, understanding, etc. The casting is so on point. The veteran Fluke is just like how I envisioned Pharm. Plus, wow, the actors they ensembled for older generation are really renowned and respected! it's worriesome how many people in the comment section seem to have never heard of consent and are questioning pharm's decision. i hope for your own well-being you will start to understand that consent is important in a relationship and it's ok to say no to your partner even if you are married.

@@stacyk510 No...Dean would "look like' (and be) a rapist if he didn't stop when Pharm pushed him away. It's common for one person in a couple to be ready for sex before the other. It doesn't make the person who's ready a rapist unless they don't wait for enthusiastic consent from their partner. Dean looks like an ideal boyfriend - respecting his partner's boundaries. If that emphasis on consent isn't in the book, then I'm glad they added it in the show.
