I just bought Saiseiga's live DVD "Let it Shine", knowing I'd get great music but not expecting a great recording. Really, I bought it mainly to support the band. But it's incredible! Aside from the small venue, I'd think they were a band with 100 times the subscribers. For me much better sound than the 2023 official live videos. Strongly recommended.

I've liked what I heard from Saiseiga before, but THIS song absolutely slays. 🤘🤘 The vocalist especially has a great presence in this song,, and overall the band really stepped it up for this. That breakdown at 3:12 was a beast, and I loved it. I'm VERY impressed with this band.

This is the first I've heard of this band. The singer is good (reminds me of Eye) and the look of the band is interesting. The chorus melody sounds like "Koete Yuke" from Gacharic Spin.

I used to see their performances on the Team-A Thrash channel and wasn't that impressed. But I saw them on the Rockline Odessey video and am shocked at how good they are. Regan has a great voice unlike so many that fool around with that harse vocals garbage. Hopefully, she doesn't ruin her voice.

SAISEIGAが純粋なガールズバンドだったらもっと売れているのにな〜 最近になってようやく絶対倶楽部の登録者数を超えた。 サウンド的には 花冷え。に近いと思うけど、あちらはすでに特に海外で大ブレーク中で海外フェスにも続々出場が決まっている。 それが可能だったのは純粋がガールズバンドによるユニークな楽曲だったり、見た目とのギャップだったり、ある意味BAND-MAIDの築いたレールをうまく使っているように思える。 つい最近出た HADES というガールズバンドは初期のBAND-MAIDの楽曲に近いたったの1曲ですでにSAISEIGAの登録数に迫ろうとしている。 正直私は絶対倶楽部の終盤のDream Thearterポイ楽曲をそのまま推し進めたほうが良かったのではないかと思っている。絶対倶楽部で唯一気になったのは歌メロのクセの強さであり、現在のSAISEIGAではその部分が抑えられていて、現状であれば問題ない。 おそらく絶対倶楽部を少し軌道修正すればもっとうまく言っていたと思う。 現在はガールズバンド全盛期だからタイミングとしては絶対倶楽部は少し早かった。 ガールズバンドがなぜもてはやされるかと言うと女性特有のユニークさによる新鮮さが持ち込まれるからであり、男性アーティストはそのバックグラウンドがもともとの欧米のメタルでしかないからどうしても個性に欠けてしまう。つまり面白みに欠けるわけだ。 対してガールズバンドのバックグラウンドはメタルに直結している場合が少なく、そこに女性特有のユニークさが生まれる余地が出てくる。 また、女性の場合子供の頃にピアノを習う人が多く音楽的素養を備えている人が多いのも大きい。 その点、男性ミュージシャンはありきたりであり、売れるにはよっぽどの何かが必要となる。 例えばLovebitesの新しいベースのFamiなんかはすごくテクニカルでユニークでしかもカワイイw 人気もうなぎのぼりww また、SAISEIGAの路線は絶対倶楽部よりもニッチであり海外アピールする以外に浮上する道はない。 女性ボーカルのMardelasが浮上できないのと同じ構図だと思う。

So there's just one guitar. Of course, in the studio the guitarist laid down two or three tracks and we are hearing them all. So in concert they won't sound so big and full unless they play some backing tracks. I wish bands didn't do that.... it's sorta lame.
