ARMY here, don’t mind the hate. The chorus isn’t my taste but I love the pre-chorus and bridge. This song actually gives a somewhat 3rd or early 4th gen vibe which is refreshing! Kpop nowadays always has the same sound that tries to please everyone, but this is unique. I haven't seen any of the hate cause I stay away from those platforms but this is what ACE does. They are very experimental and always have been. They started their career with a heavily experimental EDM song and wearing hotpants and it got all kinds of hate and love. They have done heavy rock, ballads, hip hop, edm, pop, electro pop, and rap.
