Too bad, corporate idiots didn't let Spicy Horse to at least patch things up to extend the perfection of that gameplay beauty. This is truely, really a piece of art.

Has anyone realized yet that the Chello/Violin parts essentially hit the same meter as the "Puppet Queen"(final boss battle) from American Mcgee's Alice(the first game), but specifically where the chorus picked up in the first game's rendition but slowed down? I'm always blown away by these subtleties when I catch them.

Joe Murphy, most players, including I, have thought that the Red Queen/Queen of Hearts was Alice's sister, Lizzie. The Queen is not Lizzie but a younger Alice. Most people thought it was Lizzie because Alice, in the train, talking to Lizzie, said "Oh, poor, Lizzie". It is also stated in "The Art of Alice: Madness Returns" that the Queen was supposed to be a younger Alice. People reference her as Lizzie though, still.

The Red Queen doesn't appear in any Alice games, but the Queen of Hearts does!

Alice Liddell Actually, the character in the AM games is both the Red Queen and the Queen of Hearts, because she is the ruler of both the red chessmen and the cardmen. In name, she is referred to as the Red Queen, but the realm leading to her castle in the 1st game is called "Queen of Hearts Land". It's just a common thing in Alice adaptations to combine the Red Queen and the Queen of Hearts and refer to the amalgation by one name or the other.
