If I had to only live with three DRF movies for the rest of my life, Blood and Tears will definitely be in the top three. It's a debate between me and my homeboys who like DRF whether this or Veteranos was a better film and in my opinion they both get the Medalla de Oro in my opinion. This was a very powerful story. Once again the messages throughout your movies is about karma, the dangers of the gang life, and how your actions can impact other people. I used to rent the heck out of this film back in the day at Blockbuster. This is truly a urban gem. It's an honor to be a fan of DRF. All the actors in this film were great!! Much love and respect to DRF!!

This is a good, sad, and scary movie because of rival gangs' actions. They have to watch each other back and look for revenge all time, which is not good. In real scenarios, this is crucially and it happens globally because you will see one gang fights with other. Only thing to avoid problems is to stay out of the streets and not connect with bad people.

You must be young. EVERYBODY said "ese" in the 70s, 80s, 90s, regardless of where they were from. Nobody owns that word. It literally meant "that guy" or "that dude" or "that one". It eventually slanged out to "ese". In the 2000s "Ene" became popular with Nortenos. Darkroom said it in several songs in the 90s. Now do you understand ese?
