I'm born and raised in the US, obviously of African descent. I grew up learning about African culture but only really at Kwanzaa. Being African American in a America or anywhere as a result of the devastation of 400 years of slavery is difficult and it only becomes harder when you are awakened to our African culture we've been ripped from. Growing up I was never this intrigued mostly bc I didn't see or wasn't around things so heavily African influenced but recently I began dating a Ghanian and I will not go back to life before that. Not only was he a wonderful bf, I was introduced to do much I felt I'd missed out on, music, food, language, culture and just a certain respect for each other. I'm proud of my African roots and even in america as an American I am African and basically I'm just saying all this to tell you all that I love us!!!! Bless you

One of the reasons that I love Flavour is that he really appreciates his Igbo roots by singing in the Igbo language and also showing the world some of the traditions that the Igbo people value- this way even future generations will learn about it through his music. It is a truly beautiful culture and am really in love with it. I must visit Nigeria soon and maybe get myself an Igbo man hahah! Much love from Kenya!

No No no. We don't have enough guys to share. The Fulanis governments are busy working hard to eliminate them by extra judiciary killings. So we don't have enough. So don't come We aren't sharing. Am so jealous when I see our girls marrying outside because there is scacity of our men. So don't even think about it. Stay on your lane.

I'm a Cameroonian and I'll say Nigeria gat the best culture when it comes to traditional weddings. I love this video so much and it makes me to thinks of someone so dearly who's far away from me. Love y'all me African brothers and sisters
@philipuwumarogie97969 жыл бұрын
Anwanda Manfred I don't think there is anything like best culture. We're all a little different and there are wonderful aspects to each of our cultures. I'd love to see Cameroonian culture represented for us to enjoy. I know that there are many different tribes and so there would be much to enjoy. Diversity can be a wonderful thing when people don't use it to cause divisions and rancour. I'm Nigerian but not Igbo (although I married a beautiful Igbo woman so had a very similar traditional wedding) but I think the mixing of cultures is a plus. I hope some Cameroonian artiste represent and put up things that show of your amazing culture too.
