I am a brain tumor survivor. I am also a boxing fan. The confidence and willpower of this man inspired me through the most difficult and painful days of my life. People say Sugar Ray Robinson, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather Jr., or Manny Pacquiao are the best of all time. Its a never ending debate. But best does not mean the greatest. To me, Muhammad Ali is the greatest. He inspired generations and will continue to do so, not just in becoming champions themselves both in and out of the ring, but believing in ourselves despite adversity, damning odds, and uncertainty.

@GA-deZn for the greatest based on what I said, yes. Although I still maintain Ali was the best. Off the top of my head he beat seven AYGs like Floyd Patterson and Foreman, most of whom were relatively in their prime. Not to mention the other notable puncher's like Ron Lyle and Shavers. Olympic gold medalist and a style that changed boxing? Best heavyweight eithkjt question. But you can't write off Pacwuiao and Mayweather. Tyson for sure isn't top ten or even twenty even if I did like him. May weather had beaten 23 world champions across five weight classes in a career of only 50 fights. Not to mention is vicious style when he was Pretty Boy Floyd and then became the defensive master as Floyd Money Mayweather. Pacquiao beat 22 IIRC, world champions across eight weight classes (although if say Pac is second to Mayweather since he won some of those titles at dubious catch weights against guys who were older ( De La Hoya), or coming off of bad fights and long layoffs (Hatton and Thurman).
