Yeah, it seems he's gets more hate than deserved. Just being associated with scientology is damaging enough, but as far as I know, Cruise hasn't done anything besides just being a member. I liked several of his recent movies. Edge of Tomorrow was great. That next to last Mission Impossible, Oblivion, Knight & Day were good. I even thought The Mummy was okay but his name does not pull in the money like it used too mostly because that Scientology stuff is weird. He may be crazy as a sack of marbles in real life, but nobody can deny he's one of the most extremely dedicated stunt actors alive today (along with Keanue Reeves). Most actors won't even fall on their butts without a stunt double, and here is this guy (and Keanue) approaching 60 and so physically dedicated to their physical performance on screen. Very admirable, and makes me a huge Mission Impossible fan (and Matrix/Wick, for Keanu).
