I'm partially deaf since birth but I can recognize his voice no matter what. His series in Colombia were dubbed but when I went to the states in the 80s there were some reruns of his nature series and I loved how he narrated all and fell in love with his voice since.

Interesting thing though, is many of us don't like hearing our own voices on tape, on video, that sort of thing, even if others may think we have great voices🙂Cher is a veteran American actress and singer, and she said, point blank, in an interview she gave on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, that one of the reasons she does not like watching her own movies, is her voice. She doesn't like the sound of her voice in her movies, quite likely too on her own music. Chances too are that Sir David doesn't love his own voice on tape, or on his documentaries, even though many around the world just love it.
