Due to his longevity and bankability, an often overlooked aspect of Tom cruise is his range. People might be quick to judge him from his recent MI movies, but Tom has had a plethora of great performances in widely different roles. And mind you, it doesn't need to be a character driven movie to showcase one's range, he is able to display that even in commercial blockbusters. His dramatic portrayal in Magnolia, Few good men, Rainman, etc., comedic role in Tropic Thunder, Anti-hero in Collateral, Romantic role in Jerry Maguire, War movies like Born on 4th of July and Valkyrie, fantasy movies like Interview with Vampire, he has done enough to showcase his range. But action and sci-fi are his trope and after all these years trying to prove people how good an actor he is, perhaps he now deserves to work on what he enjoys the most

Graham Norton always makes his guests so comfortable that it becomes a real conversation. I will take umbrage with the chairs, and their being spaced out so far from each other. I prefer the sofas!

Tom is a master, very professional and down to earth despite his huge fame and great career.

Greatest Hollywood Star/Actor ever. Done so many variety of films, does amazing stunts, has outstanding screen presence. This man has it all, should have won at least two Oscar awards. Oscar or not, will remain in history has the star who ruled the industry for more than three decades.

Ok. Now I understand why actors take very small bites of their food in eating scenes. So they don’t overeat from having to do all the reshoots 😂

With one exception: Brad Pitt... especially in the Ocean's movies.

Keep an eye out for how often you actually see them swallow the food before the camera cuts away as well 😉

Except Adam Baldwin in Firefly. lmao They had to refill his plate about 5 times while shooting the dinner scene in the first episode.

A lot of times they just move the food around, its always funny to watch just how much they avoid actually eating the food
@AnnaMaria-oy1fp3 жыл бұрын
Sometimes their is someone going round with a bag and the actors spit the food out.

Tom Cruise might be crazy all day, but that man is beautiful, a fantastic actor, and still does most of his own stunts. Respect.

Hollywood does not like Scientology. That’s why he has no Oscar yet. Maybe one day they would grant him a life award as they did for the TALENTED Ennio Morricone. What a shame. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
@hijodelaisla2753 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure I understand the significance of an actor doing his own stunts, aside from making it easier to film because you don't have to hide the face. I suppose that's enough.

At least he didn't have to smoke. If you watch him in Rainman, he holds the cigarette but you never see him smoke it.

Actors don't smoke "real" cigarettes in movies or TV shows, those are fake cigarettes made of some herbal things. They smell funny tho.

Tom Cruise is an old-style Movie Star. He could stand next to Cary Grant, Spencer Tracy, Humphry Bogart, John Wayne or James Stewart. True, grand Movie Star.
