@aibekadigineev66528 жыл бұрын
I think that's one of the things that make this show great. The host let's the guests interact and doesn't interrupt the chemistry by trying to be funny in the midst of them speaking like Jimmy Fallon does or James Corden.
@rampadmanabhan42587 жыл бұрын
At least Corden's does have multiple guests on his show which, IMHO makes it better than some others out there. Deffo better than Fallon.
@jenicdarling96907 жыл бұрын
Aibek Adigineev James is better then Jimmy, Jimmy agrees and has a like fake laugh to everything a guest says. But well james seems more personal with em, Also has this set up of like just people hanging out. But Graham's show is better, they seem so less informal and restricted but maybe that's cause they can drink on the show, curse and other more mature topics.

@@siriosstar4789 I often think of Graham as the perfect host of a cocktail party when interacting with his guests. He absolutely knows when his guests are having fun interacting without him, and he's happy to become an observer. Experience tells him when's the right time to pick up the reins of conversation. Like Parkinson in the past, he sits on a level with guests. And he brings them all out after his topical intro. His guests are allowed to drink alcohol before and during the show, if they choose, and only a couple have ever over imbibed. Most just relax, and chat. It's Graham's near total lack of ego that makes him, and his show, so endearing. Add to that his regular, unscripted, genius comic timing, and you have a real "chat show", where celebrities actually chat, and aren't just subjected to questions from the, "I am the host and star of this show".

2:47 I FOUND IT! I found the exact moment when Graham shows why he's the absolute best host in the world. 2:42 He senses the flow is about to end and he locks and loads a new round of conversation. Doesn't fire for 5 more seconds, every Jimmy on US TV would have prematurely let it off by the 45 second mark, but Graham is the best; he let's it linger 2:47 You see it, our boy's about to keep the party going, but senses somethings still there... he let's it pass 3:20 Listen to the audio Graham doesn't make a sound for 33 seconds since he pulled back, he liked the chemistry and felt they were going somewhere within the conversation they are having on their own that was fun and new, the sound he makes is of encouragement not fake laughter and interruption so he can get to his segue. Write that down Jimmys, this man is showing you how it's done 3:26 He pulls back again because his second, the comedian he always has on the couch, is locked in and is ready to fire 3:41 Back up support from Graham 3:47 Money shot! The perfect, natural, genuine funny moment from all you guest on couch that gives you that hanging out in living room with a few good drinks party having one great night\ Truly a masterclass from a master at his craft. 4:08 minutes and he only spoke 3 times and twice were at the end. Absolutely brilliant. There's just something amazingly different about Graham's shows. the guests are just so relaxed that they open up about antidotes of their lives that no other chat shows achieves. Take Chris Martin for instance, who is a very private person but equally very funny. Over the years of appearing on Graham's shows he has grown in confidence to becoming a very endearing guest and a pleasure to watch, there's no hesitation in him watching what he says, which happens often on other chat shows (he always seems guarded in some ways) but tonight all the guests seemed comfortable with each other that it was like watching a friends get together. love it love it.

I love this clip! The only show that the guests can talk freely and have fun and the presenter doesn't barge in to get things back on track in the middle of a story.

Great clip this one. Given how famous he is, Chris Martin seems like the most modest, nicest chaps. So great to see super famous people that are so normal.

As English is not my mother tongue, I literally had to stop the video every few seconds to look up all the vocab to get the joke because I was not at all familiar with all those crazy British words. 😂 But in the end it was funny and I learned a lot! 🖒
