My biggest regret I was never able to see him in concert, he was scheduled to play here in ca but it was canceled due to his health issues , I was broken hearted that he shortly passed away. RIP beautiful man.

A friend just turned me unto this great band! Sure wish all the bands names were listed! Every time I heard the Allman Brothers band they were "heart lifting," great therapy to feel good, better good." Thank You God for my good kid days. & Now knowing, loving what the "good old days" are :) & were!

Saw them Saturday night, July 18, 2015. Really bad storm hit, messed the stage up and equipment. Gregg came on late, played mostly in the dark. The band was GREAT.

Imagine Duane aging as well as his peers and brother Gregg... I could never be so proud of that. Unfortunately euphoria doesn't exist.

That drum solo...wow! Thought he was going to start playing with his hands any minute a la Bonzo. It was very Moby Dick-ish. Devon rocked too, he looks more like Duane than Duane’s own daughter!

If you think he looks like his Uncle Duane here, you should check out this: Royal Southern Brotherhood - Unplugged in Norway here on you tube. Whoa boy howdy he looks just like him.
@lightcaesar4 жыл бұрын
I've always thought the same. In fact, I finally got around to checking some birth and death rates to make sure he's Gregg's son. It turns out Duane died before Devon was even conceived. I've recently noticed that one of John Fogerty's sons looks exactly like his brother Tom.

One of my favorite ABB tunes, but this one is far too long, loses momentum due to superfluous drum and bass solos. Btw: 8:34 sax player comes in to early for full band action which starts at 8:50 . Anyway, Gregg's voice is thrilling through all the decades.

That drum solo kicks ass!! Can't wait to get this DVD. Love bass solo. You don't hear them very often. And the horns add so much to the bands overall sound. Gregory was right, again. Oh yeah--Gregory's voice sounds as great as always.

Devon played what would have been Dickey's solo on the record version. He's Duane's nephew, but not in his class as a guitarist.

@Gatamona19456 жыл бұрын
I just dawned on me that Gregg wasn't feeling good enough to carry on a whole show any more.. perhaps he's needed the time to rest up and not burn out! He was pretty sick by then...
