Great video Holly! Honestly the producer of that show was a man who thought the show should have sex appeal because men will watch bc of the playboy name. The core fan base for GND was young women and little girls who wanted to be like You. Thank you and Bridget for all of the pretty dresses and costumes you wore when filming. I was a member and thought it was so cool to get to talk to you and the fact that you wanted to connect with us fans was mind blowing to me. Always wanted to thank you for taking time interacting with fans, it means a lot Bonus Info I recently found the chat transcripts and looked through them for fun. Honestly, I really liked this episode when it aired. I always thought it was cute, and as dumb as it sounds the scene where you all are ordering food and passing the phone back and forth is just interesting to watch. I didn’t think season three was too early for this because it was just some thing, “different.” We had never as viewers and fans seeing you watch your own show or laugh and giggle or critique yourself or face palm type of thing but of course Mr. producer always had his say I’m sure. At this point it was the closest to a reaction video that a viewer and fan could watch before reaction videos were a thing. The hair on GND is spectacular. The everyday extreme blondes but I love all the salon footage when you'd all get big party hair with Laurent - so fun. Also I know you didn't ask but if your stylist is wanting you to bleach less, you'd look great with the "lived in" really rooted blonde trend, it's much healthier for your hair with no banding, less lightener overlap and easy to paint your extensions to match. ♥️

Holly, I remember reading that Gwen Stefani's long time hair stylist found a way to color her hair without damaging it. Apparently he developed this technique years ago and he hasn't bleached her hair since the early 2000s. When she is on "The Voice", he colors her hair on Monday afternoons so it is ready for the show. You should go to him for your hair!

But in this video she said that despite coloring her hair every 6 weeks and not coloring it every week like she used to, she still gets a lot of breakage. In previous videos she has also mentioned not liking having to wait 6 weeks between coloring it. Maybe it's time to find a new technique so Holly can have the color and style that she wants, with less breakage.

This episode to me felt like they were trying to force certain reactions on certain moments that had been filmed and like they were trying to label y’all’s characters for the entire series. I agree with you on the fact that it was a little odd that they were doing a nostalgic episode at the end of the season but to me it almost felt like an episode you would see at the end of a series not a season. Hi Holly! I remember the live chats. I believe they were associated with a message board. It was a "pay to play" kind of thing. I subscribed to yours and Bridget's. Once a week, I think it was on a Tuesday or Wednesday, at 1pm est (I remember because I always scheduled my lunch break around it, lol) you guys would come on, and the subscribers could ask you questions. Obviously it was moderated so inappropriate things wouldn't show up. I believe this was something separate of the E boards, because it used to tick me off that some of the nasty people would subscribe, then screenshot and post some of the chats on the free E chats, and they would call us nasty names for being fans, like it was 5th grade, and not a group of 30 something women. But for all the ugly people, we actually had a fun friend group within the board. The moderator was a British woman, I believe. Not because we could see or hear her, it was just the way she wrote, so I always "heard" her with a British accent. Sometimes she would even put out APBs for women interested in GlamorCon, or trying out for painted lady jobs too. Hope this helps! In regards to your comment about whether the third season was too early for a “Best Of” episode: I remember in 2007 there was the Writer’s Strike so show productions were paused during that time. A lot of shows ran reruns because they had no new episodes to air. This “Best Of” episode was probably a way for the network to get people to watch the show during this Writer’s Strike and it definitely worked for me! I remember the first episode I ever watched live was the season 3 premier and this particular episode showed me things I missed and made me want to catch up on the series. Remember, this was 2007! Streaming wasn’t a thing, binging wasn’t a term people used. This “Best Of” episode was definitely used as a way to get people to watch the show while no new episodes were being filmed. And it definitely worked on me!

BTW- With all you have been through, have you ever been to therapy? Care to share your thoughts on it? I feel like for introspective individuals such as yourself, it is really hard to find a therapist that would be insightful and provide tools that you would not already be aware of.
