hi hpi my savage xl engine starts but just cuts aut almost instantly and will definatly won accelerate, i reasontly reset the hsn and lsn it couldnt be anything to do with that, please help, thanks, Aidan

@eichioba Hi Alessandro, The first truck I wanted to buy was flux... But it's very expensive and I don't have the experience to run it...Now I want to buy Savage 3.5 . What do you say?A friend of mine said tha t I can run savage 3.5 only for 15 minutes and then the gas box (i'm form greece and I don't know how it said) will be empty... Nicolas.

Savage xl top speed is 43 mph and it's bashes like no other I've had it for a user and man this is frisking amazing

I'm looking at getting one but i have a couple of questions that u might be able to answer 1. is the k5.9 a good engine and does it have a lot of torque 2. is the truck durable and is it easy to brake it and if so is their anything i should hop up before bashing it 3. does it perform well and have any problems and also is it worth 600 bucks also is it a good basher i would really appreciate the help regards matt regards matt

tips over with skinny stock tires. wider tires and wheels = ace car

ya its to rich or lean. happy tuning :o) just remember to turn lsn and hsn a little at a time. like if you look at a clock make 1hrs adjustments like a 12th of a turn. I have to tune depending on the weather out.

Just to add, Adjusting the main needle adjusts the lower too, adjusting the low needle only adjusts the low end

Nitro Star 5.9 is a good engine. it would be a great engine if i didnt have reliability problems. although it only seems to be a one in a thousand sort of thing.

Doesn't that sound a little unlogical? I mean, the more precent of nitro your fuel contains, the less there is left over for the cooling liquid(methanol). I thought it was the other way round: the lower your amount of nitro in the fuel, the cooler it will run, because more heat is, so to speak, "absorbed" by the cooling fluid, simply because ther is more of it in your fuel.

My stock savage xl go 87km/h with 25% nitro feul And a good tuning. Hpi say that à stock savage xl 90 km/h go!! I come From THE netherlands and i can't speak english very well..:)

@TheBachfischer Being "better" is subjective. If you mean faster, however, then that is just a false statement. Can your "big block power" achieve 80mph? Didn't think so ;)

@MasterNicolas77 Hi Nic, I have a Savage Flux HP with 2 Lipo Batteries 5000 30C and i run about 45-50 minutes, not 15, and the Flux is a monster with a top speed 100Km/h (exagerate for a monster), then if you don't be crazy with tuning, grime ecc, make a Flux. Alessandro.
