Natural Born Master - Yeah, you’re right. I know Jim has referred to it before as the “elixir of life” and how he had to have it back in the day. Maybe it was that high sugar content. The original had/has 44 grams for 21 fl. oz (per Google). Jim’s an intense guy and he certainly hasn’t mellowed with age. Good for him! Thanks for the info.

54:30 it was good to hear Chip Kessler get a name drop from Cornette. I was about 10 years old when I found SMW on local TV, and having heard Chip on local radio doing sports reports and calling ETSU football and basketball games, Chip added a good deal of authenticity to the SMW TV product. Chip had a great voice, and that classic AM radio style of delivery. Cornette made a good call giving Chip Kessler a role in SMW.

I love listening to Jim Cornette and I watched as much SMW as I could, every Saturday morning on WCYB when I was a kid. But, his views on religion are dated. I don't know any Christians that want to kill gays. The church I go to welcomes people of all lifestyles. God made you because he loves you, and that love is eternal and *unconditional*. I also know a lot of Christians, myself included, who are as worried about the environment as Mr. Cornette is. If not more so. Because I believe in God, I view the earth as a unique gift from the Creator, and I don't like idiots spoiling it in the name of greed or capitalism any more than Cornette does. I tend to like animals more than people, and I want to protect their environment as much as anyone. I donate regularly to Cornell, The Nature Conservancy, Audubon, etc. Finally, abortion... Yes, I'm a guy so I don't claim any rights to an opinion. But I like to think that my girlfriend's opinion is more valid than Cornette's when she is very much against the idea of abortion... And if she was pregnant, she definitely wouldn't refer to her unborn son or daughter as a "parasite". I agree with Jim Cornette on some things, but I love hearing his opinions even when I disagree. But, the way he talks about Christians sounds like he is criticizing religion the way it was practiced in the 1940s. He comes across as just as extreme and kooky as the fanatics he is criticizing. Maybe churches in Kentucky aren't like the ones in my town... But most Christians aren't as crazy as Jim thinks they are. Rant over.
