I'm 72 years old from Michigan in the US. My once little prosperous town like hundreds of others all over the country are wastelands. Struggling to regain financial security that just disappeared. Gone, generations of people's lives destroyed.

I shed a year or two every time I hear this song. This song represents a very sad day in Australian history where we lost full ownership of one of our best cars to ever be made which was the Holden. My heart breaks tremendously every time I hear this song. As I was a Holden girl before they turned to shit. Jimmy Barnes you have done wonders once again. Your a true Australian icon and forever will be just like the Holden ❤️ I'm 26 years old and grew up with your music as my family love you as I do as well. I will give credit where credit is due. Thank you so much for another extraordinary hit Jimmy ❤️

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the support you’ve shown me throughout my career, You’ve always been someone I could call my “biggest fan.” What means the most to me is that you do more than tell me I’m “great” at what I do, or that I’m a shoe-in for an opportunity. You take it a few steps beyond and share the reasons why you think so. Sometimes it seems like you remember my achievements even better than I do myself. I always appreciate your ability to see how my talents can make a difference and you’ve made me a believer too! After a chat with you, I always feel more confident and capable, and for that I will always be grateful. Kindly message me on hangouts email. therealjimmybarnes.connect@gmail.com

Look up "Lima Agreement" 1975 to see why we've been sold down the river by successive Govts. Once was a time when there was more work than people to fill those jobs. Seriously, you could go out in the morning and find a new job and start it the next day and if you didn't like it, next day go out and do exactly the same again. The only qualification I have is a driver's license plus self taught skills from all the work I had. I paid off my first house at age 40 and my second 12yrs later. Blue collar every day of my working life.
