Tom is hilarious, and you don't even notice he doesn't swear, or rarely does, I don't mind comedians that swear, but comedians like Tom, Jim Gaffiigan, the late great Louie Anderson and a few others, are refreshing

I needed this today. I'm getting ready to get a new hip. A NEW HIP? Why can't I just walk, or limp...into the sea instead? A NEW HIP. Humour solves everything or at least makes it bearable when you have to endure inland, far, far from the sea.

I love comedy, but good comedy. The kind that makes ME laugh out loud, which is the only scale I can use to rate it on. Because even some of the most popular comedians don't match my sense of humor. Most comedians, like 90+%, get an occasional snort at best. Very few make me actually laugh. Tom Papa is on that short list.

1965 we went to Disneyland and I dragged my parents back and forth criss-crossing the entire park for each ride choice. Thanks Tom! You reminded me of my Dad's smiling face trying to explain how to experience everything in this land and then move to the next land. It was marvelous!

I feel like I didn’t notice as much with Tom Papa that he doesn’t swear (until now) bc he’s already that distinctly, societally cherished 1950s-esque cool guy whose like a hybrid of Frank Sinatra and Snagglepuss.... so he’s already “in” with the edgier demographic who swears a lot.... so he just is accepted into the cool crowd so to speak. John Mulaney kinda has that similar “thing” but he comes across more 1960s. Neither one of them need to swear bc they’re such great story tellers/they use their words/vocabulary to keep it interesting. AND they have that old school feel that everyone loves and respects.

I can't remember what show it was where he talks about holding a baby for the first time. He said you're looking at this beautiful miracle of life and an inner voice says, you could throw the baby. In 2016 Disney still had a fraction of what made it great, but now a transgender guy with a mustache will greet your six year old daughter to help her get fitted for a $400 princess dress. So glad that my kids had the opportunity to experience what Disney was meant to be. Disney is now the poster child for Woke.

Actually, to be fair there have been incidents where males have disappeared into thin air at bars. There was one that went to the bathroom and never came out, with no possible escape routes in the bathroom, and security cameras showing him entering but never exiting. I cant recall the details of others but they are always males between about 25-35, and im not sure if every one is always found, but they will be found a week or so later nearby, dead and in shallow water. They can be standing with friends outside a bar and as they go to start walking turn around and have a friend just vanish, with only seconds from seeing them and them disappear. Its really f*cking freaky.
