Does anyone else remember "The Last of the Curlews"? It left all of my 2nd grade classmates in tears.

I'm glad there's subtitles. I thought for a second that she was declaring herself a millennial, but she's saying millennials don't know this. (0:32). Tammy was born in 1967

There was an early one that starred Beau Bridges and it was a look at divorce from the kid's perspective, and at the time, my parents were still together, but I could see it on the horizon (happened 2 years later) and I watched it thinking "yup, this is how it's going to be." And it was.

The drug films they showed us in class in the 70's would get teachers arrested today. I never wanted to do drugs after seeing those films, so I guess they worked.

I remember being in basic training in the Navy in the 70's. Right before graduation they showed us a film called "Red Asphalt" about the hazards of driving drunk or high. It was pretty intense too.

@@nathanielmcneal5835 well the films were real. You ever see a heroin addict go through withdrawal on film, it ain't pretty.

The standup comic is lame but the TV 📺 today is goat 🐐 tripe. ABC Afterschool specials were wholesome programming

As funny as it is it is heartbreaking. Younger parents vote for a nanny state because they truly believe everyone must be constantly monitored to insure life is risk free. It’s called LIVING people. Most of your kids are only allowed to EXIST. There’s a difference.

She's making it up about the one starring Jodie Foster as a heroin addict, isn't she? I don't remember it and I would have.
