Amity and everyone dies, but Philip returns to Conneticut as a super natural monster where the boring Luz who went to summer camp was. 2.The Day of Unity never came because they never figured out that the key has titan blood. Without Luz no character development ever happens, but there is still a chance that King dies to the collector's possy, Willow stays in a coven she despises, Hunter the Grimwalkers dies, Amity is stuck in her ways as a Blight. Luz is crucial.

Gus and Willow would also probably be effected and possibly even Lilith. It would be interesting to see an AU with this idea as Luz connected with quite a few people during her time there

I'm still a bit confused how Luz got to the Boiling Isles. She used the time spell, but she had Eda's staff and cloak, so... is she from a different timeline?? How does she have Eda's staff if Eda has no clue who she is? if shes from the original stories timeline, why did she come to this other one? The comic seems to be implying that this is the original timeline, but Belos has intentionally changed it so Luz never makes it to the Boiling Isles. So if thats the case, where did this Luz come from? Id like to make a story out of this idea but i can't work out how luz made it to the Demon Realm

@@Millie-Million it could be possible that Belos forced Luz to return to the human Realm or she was trapped somewhere in the demon realm already so she already had those. The time altering spell could also either not have full effect in the humane realm so items brought from the boiling isles are either not returned or duplicated. Or another possibility is the palismam are not effected by this spell and since the door to the human realm still exists, owlbert finds luz, restores her memories and brings her Edas cape

@@Millie-Million amity is also only 14 when Luz arrives and only the summer passes so she was probably not much older when Luz returned to the Human realm either by choice or force. *spoilers* Belos also was originally a human and humans can’t do magic outside of the boiling isles *spoilers* so it’s likely that the spell didn’t effect the humane realm so Luz has had both the cape and Owlbert for the 3 months she originally spent in the boiling isles before the timeline change. Maybe Eda sensed something was wrong or learned about Belos plan somehow and made Luz return to the human realm with the cloak, Owlbert to watch over her, and a spell to return to the demon realm after a set amount of time

Putting apart the possible plans of Belos for Hunter, this AU makes sense. Considering that Amity's family is important for the kingdom and that both Hunter and Amity probabily would have a very small chance of finding love because of their families and creation and all control that they suffer, an arranged marriage makes sense and they both being forced to marry each other makes sense too (sadly) since they are close in age and both are skillful in their arts and share other similarities, they have things in common with each other (sadly that includes abusive families). That story would be dark and sad but I would love to see it continued and ending in a good ending. Amity and Luz being happy together and both Hunter and Amity being free and living in freedom away from their families.

Moreover, Philip still needs an escape plan. Eda would still have the portal door and key, which Philip can't escape the isles without. In fact, the catalyst for the Day of Unity hinges upon three things- the branding of every witch on the isles, the possession of the portal door and key, and the draining spell itself working. Even assuming Philip still found the light glyph without Luz, without the events of Young Blood, Old Souls and Eclipse Lake, both indirectly caused by Luz's presence, that wouldn't happen nearly as quickly as it did. Entirely erasing Luz's presence in the Boiling Isles would be a really stupid move on Philip's part.

I swear, the artist of these comics (Moringmark) was known for predicting a lot of things! He once did a Wreck it Ralph 2 reference for his Star Vs. The Forces of Evil comic wherein the Queens of Mewni gathered around and started asking Star some questions to know if she was really a queen. Heck, that comic was made way before the second to the last episode where Star canonically gets to meet the spirits of the past Queens of Mewni! It wasn’t about Amity’s preferences but instead who would give the family name a boost with money and title. As seen they are awkward acquaintances because they wanted to marry for love, not politics. So you are correct in the sense of why the artist put pillows between them. Hunter is not interested in Amity (whatever his sexuality may be) and Amity certainly would not be interested in him as being lesbian. But from Odalia’s perspective it would make sense to marry her daughter off to Hunter. He most likely was the most powerful suitor (not his choice) Odalia might even want grandchildren but it is more of his status than anything. Sorry if I misunderstood your statement but I just wanted to share my thoughts.

If this show got the length of time it deserved I would have loved for this to have been a series arc or even just an episode where we see the timeline where luz doesn't go to the boiling isles (or doesn't stay or is captured the moment they exit the portal or something along those lines) and characters like amity and maybe willow (forcing them to work together when in this timeline amity never stopped bullying her and willow also never gets moved to the plant coven so is still seen and views herself as a weak witch, that seems like the more interesting pairing if you have it so that amity is the main character who remembers) piece together that something isn't right and they have to change it back (maybe do the classic thing where the alternate versions sacrifice themselves in the process to return things back to normal), also I like how in this timeline hunter is somewhat good (which could hint to his later redemption). Also maybe you could have dark fate for other characters, like eda, who actually got petrified or is suck as the owl beast after never letting anyone in and growing enough to learn to handle the curse (not sure what this would mean for king though). This would have been a cool story to see in the show.

Seeing a warped version of the Owl House reality like this would actually be SO COOL! If there's ever a sequel, I want it to happen because of something like this. Imagine like one of the character's accidentally alters history and brings everyone back to before Luz entered the Demon Realm, but all of them have a feeling that something's off or something and eventually they all reunite and figure out a way to get back to their true lives and selves, but retaining all of the memories. Neither any of them agree to the marriage though, but if you look at the fact that Amity barely remember Luz, who play an important role on her character and also a soulmate. Here in this reality it show how it could be happen when she still listen to Odalia, which i believe she play main part in their marriage since with Odalia personality, she will want more power. And what make she feel powerful than her own business? A marriage proposal with emperor nephew, Hunter, A. K. A the golden guard of the castle. Imagine how powerful the Blight name will be.
