It may get discussed laseer but in the LN it was mentioned episode one. But Jinwoo had a health and longevity buff that gives him increased healing while asleep. That’s why his leg grew back after the double dungeon and he doesn’t have scars or blemishes on his skin. I believe it’s called the Blessing of Khandiaru. And there isn’t a system that ranks S ranks based off strength. But there is a ranking system eventually that ranks them more off their career inside dungeons.

Yeah according to the show, the return to get retested if you are off the charts on the regular ranking machine is just an excuse for the association to have a chance to talk to new S-rankers before the Guilds could possibly get their hands on them. If one is already off the charts, they are already by default S-rank regardless if they are just barely above the machines limit, or so much above it that it would need to be twice as good.

Just some info with no spoilers: A rank Gates are actually extremely dangerous, no hunters below A rank should enter and even then is risky 'coz of the huge power of the Magic beasts inside wihout even counting the boss. S rank Gates are basically only for S rank hunters and, again, is still risky and they better be a lot of S ranks going in; the ants in Jeju island? That was an S rank Gate and as they already mentioned in season 1, they've tried several times cleaning the island and failed due to not enough S rank hunters in the Korea.

After a while, why wouldn't Korea just contract some s-rankers from another country? I am sure there is some political issues involved but, if the Korean Association made a formal request of some of their allied nations surely they wouldn't mind lending a few S-rankers for a week or two. Or even more confusingly, why haven't other S-rankers gotten together, and offered aid to clear Jeju Island? Surely a whole island with an open S-rank gate constantly able to puke out A/S-Rank monsters could become a problem for the world at large after enough time passes as it seems to be heading towards with the ants showing signs of evolution

Just fyi there is no lower mid or high S rank here , if the hunter test their power in that test tool and if it say error then you will be automatically become an S Rank, that is the case for 9 of the S rank in the korea, well there is a higher rank than S rank tho but that is a spoiler so i cant tell further, you guys will know it soon 😊also Cha is stronger than Jin woo at the moment even jin woo fight alonside igris tank and iron they still cant beat cha , thats why when jin woo see her aura he says "what a very strong power shes even more stronger than the old man (the head asociation)" at least this is the translate in the manwha , you guys translate is kinda mess up lil bit tbh, cha is the Strongest S Rank in korea well i think prime go gun he is stronger but current go gun hee is weaker than cha

Technically speaking, Go Gunhee was never a hunter in his prime. The gate's didnt't start appearing until ~10 years ago so even if he awakened DAY 1 he would have still been in his 70's.

They have been covering exactly four Manhua chapters per episode this season the other nine episodes of this season (aside from maybe the next couple) are more than likely still in production, or still being edited.
