Fun fact: driveline losses are calculated at a fixed amount rather than percentage. So say a stock m240 is 390hp and loses 15% that makes it rough 330whp the loss is 60hp and that is a fixed amount so if you dyno at 1000hp you’re making 1060hp. The driveline losses in modern cars is ridiculous low these days. Hope that clears up some internet confusion

B58s are in F30 340i, or M140i F20, which are pretty affordable, and there is quite a lot of them, and for very little money you can make stupid amounts of power. that was my point. also, S58 is more like 5 year old platform now, it came in 2019 with X3M. and yes, S58 is probably even higher level, but not even close with the affordability/initial investment of getting into that platform.
