Devin. There is a mod i've been using in Attila to trade regions to other nations. - [MAGA] Region Trading - Alpha (v0.1.1) It's on the Steam Workshop. The mod can be used to give away land to anyone and even take land from them if you give up some land also. It's super exploity but I use it to increase my own immersion. Capitals cannot be traded. Please note it does make the game unstable so whenever I use it I enable, use, save and then turn it off.

Was just about to offer that up as a suggestion myself! It's great for coop too, so you and your buddies can divvy up loot in a sensible manner as well. Can't say I've had stability issues with it though.

I like these battles where you arent killing the whole enemy army without out taking any casualties yourself. It adds a bit of realism that was missing in series like massalia tales, sinew of war, and honourable gentlemen

Hey Devin, have you considered looking into Imperator Rome? Its a Paradox game coming out in early 2019, considering it doesn't have a huge dlc backlog, it might be easier for you to learn and get good at.
