I like how Ace acted like a true friend to Rico upon his breakup with Carmen. He was the only one among Rico's platoon mates who actually showed genuine care and concern for Rico and actually consoled Rico, unlike the rest of the platoon who were more aloof. Goes to show how much their friendship has grown throughout boot camp.
