She’s got talent, and not only in her guitar chops but in her collaboration choice of Joe Bonamassa with his 27 #1 billboard blues charts topping projects, she chose wisely. That Les Paul Joe was playing is probably a ‘58 and worth more than my house lol, using him was the special icing on the cake. Great song as well, fabulous blues vibe. I believe she may just be beginning to find her soul and where she could become a monument in music in this genre. Remember a long used reference to when blues albums are concerned ….’how do you make a million dollars on a blues album? Start with two million.’ Now days the quality of the artists in blues are proving their wanting to buck that old truth. Good luck young lady, keep the blues alive!

I was never an Orianthi fan although I always thought that she is an exceptionally gifted guitarist. But this song has real substance and character, what a riff, great, technically advanced guitar solo, what's not to like? Joe's solo is the icing on the cake. They both do... a shame neither get major radio airplay. Both are legit
@Rick-u1l9 ай бұрын
@@user-qr7ee2cp4y okay, going to a Joe B show or watching his videos will show you exactly why the ignore him. He’s not cookie cutter radio music, you are gonna get a two to five minute leads in every song he plays, that’s Joe, he’s spent his whole career teaching us what he’s about, a legit blues icon unwilling to not give the music he writes all the time it takes to accomplish what he wants it to. It’s (at least in this guy that’s played guitar over 54 years) integrity to his gift of music, and what he sees out there in the audience watching him. He can’t see much out there but he can hear them, and must surely feel a sense of accomplishment in the blues and in Rock with his new release with Black Country Communion. Bohnam on drums Glen H. On bass and singing lead and Joe playing the love for Rock is beyond good. That’s why I pay to see Bonamassa, because he just doesn’t get it wrong, and never do you get something to “fill” space at his concerts,(lol, at least that’s how I see it.)
@user-qr7ee2cp4y9 ай бұрын
@@Rick-u1l if you listen to his records, Joe's stuff is not that different from a lot of the other classic rock stuff you hear on those stations. Same goes for black country communion. There's no reason classic rock stations couldn't play that stuff either.

I can assure you Joes concerts are 100% live nothing added, you are absolutely hearing what he and his band are playing. He hires the best of the best to walk out on that stage when he goes on, you are getting your moneys worth no fake voice tracks, he has back up singers outta this world, Josh Smith on back up guitar and Double Trouble Stevie Ray’s keyboardist Reece W. This young lady is a wonderful guitarist, breaking in to playing the blues is not done overnight, her potential in blues is absolutely possible, I’d buy a blues album from her in a minute. Does she have chops, (by the truck loads) does she have the blues in her blood, and the feel of blues like BB, Freddie, or Albert King like Joe has spent learning his whole career, (not even close but I guarantee she’s talented enough to find the feeling sound and touch it takes to play it, she’s a top notch guitar player, and I’m glad she’s out there doing this kind of music).
