Idk about everybody else, but all I know is when I listen to this song I feel the presence of God so strong. I can dance for the Joy of The Lord in my room. This song represent freedom. And worship music does NOT have to be old hymns and organs. I believe God is pleased when we use our talents and create music that we enjoy, whether modern or not. So what if Passion dropped some bass? That created so much energy. And the Mariachi guy was amazing! The mix of cultural influence in this song so evidently shows the love of God. The bible tell us to dance and shout and make "a joyful noise"!! We all worship in different ways. Only they who accept Christ - accepting salvation into eternal life/escape from eternal damnation - will be covered by His blood; whoever rejects Him has damned his soul already, and His condemnation is upon him. Fam, in all honesty, all I've written to you is the truth. It is wisdom if you open your heart to comprehend truth & not harden it because of a one - sided view/opinion/thought. God said that whomever is willing to seek Him will find Him. Being there on the floor when this happned at Passion 2013 has to be one of the biggest highlights of my life. Every time i watch this i remember what it was like being in a dome filled with 60,000 people dancing their faces off before the Lord to a song that we all have never heard before! That moment, something was unleashed, not just in me, or in everyone there, but into the atmosphere. The fire that lit up in that place that night is indescribable. I simply cannot wait till Heaven when Believers from every generation will forever praise the Lord together. This was but a small taste. Jesus, i pray you bring Heaven down to earth in moments like this for your glory to be magnified.

I re dedicated my life to Jesus. Was going through a rough season and I was so mentally, spiritually and physically tired. Instead of holding onto Jesus, I wanted to be selfish and thought life would be better if I went back to my way’s before Christ. Not only was life not better, I was ready to go. Listen, I have been through sickness, abandonment, unloved. You name it, I have gone through a lot. Not just the past few years, but since I was a kid. We are only here for a moment. Sometimes it feels like forever. But, hold on to Jesus and He will help you get through. And just think then we get to spend eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ. Please, if you feel like walking away from Jesus, if you feel like giving up,please find a fellow Christ believer for help. If you feel all alone, please call out to Holy Spirit and ask that someone be placed in your path.

I don't necessarily think if we're having a rough time mentally or emotionally that we've walked away from Christ. I myself am having a tough time and dealing with suicidal thoughts. It's only because of my faith in Him that I'm still here. I will be starting counseling on Monday.

I've noticed something that this song reinforces at the beginning. Christians prefer to stay in the emotional high that comes with the onset of salvation rather than the trek to spiritual maturity and trials that not only should be taken, but is commanded to be taken. It's not all about emotions, and thank goodness for that since our emotions can be all over the place. In fact, the hardships and trials will probably get us down, but the joy of Jesus is what gives us hope through all of it since trials are guaranteed to come.

If so many of you are against Chris Tomlin and his music, why are you watching this video? Based on your comments, you obviously didn't like him even before you heard this song, so you must have came to watch this video just to criticize and judge. Then you want to preach how Chris Tomlin is sinning against God? Open your eyes. You're doing the same thing. I love this song. It's not just the entertainment, the lights, the music, etc. that makes me worship. It's the fact that God will NEVER give up on us, no matter how far we run. He makes me feel alive. I'm not against Chris Tomlin. I am against deception in the church. The church has lost the presence and power of God. It's been replaced by entertainment and goose bumps. Watching videos like this help keep me in touch with the deception that is running rampant in the church, since I would never be a part of this in person. I am so stunned by the lack of understanding of who God is, and the lack of a desire to die to ourselves, among people in our churches. Church is becoming a social club that we attach the name of Jesus to. Instead of preaching the Gospel of Christ, preachers are talking about how you can have your best life now, completely missing the fact that this world is but a blink of an eye, and the real prize we run the race for comes after we pass away. Musicians are singing about a dance floor in heaven that is not scriptural. We have neither the presence nor power of God in our churches and we don't even know it, must less care! We fight against his Spirit. We sing songs about inviting Him to run the show, but when do we REALLY do that? Don't we bring a pre-scripted ritual to all of our services? When do we REALLy trust that He will lead us and speak to us and provide for us? When we're ready to truly be honest with ourselves; when we're tired of settling for less than God; when we're truly hungry for Jesus and sick of this world; then we are able to see this truth, and the deception will make you literally sick to your stomach.

I came back to Christ around the time when I discovered this song. The first time I was saved was when I heard "secret ambition" by Michael Smith and it was powerful @ 4 am during spring break when I was 14 and a practicing wiccan, but I fell away.
