Another magnificient night of darts. The opener was just brilliant between MVG and Wade. Semi finals Wade was just on a different planet, what an unbelievable performance. Clayton showing amazing resilience to come back from 4-1down against Smith who was actually playing great and didnt drop his level, Clayton just slightly raised his own. The final was so close as i knew it would be and could easily have gone either way but James Wade deserves credit. He was 8th last month and look at him now, hes flying up the table. My guy Claytons consistency and resilience is also astonishing. Hes doing a brilliant job so far defending his title.

Well said. That tenth leg in the final though... that's what cost Jonny. Full credit to Wade though. I think it's gonna be those two in the grand final.

@@xtheamazingax i didnt see that coming he was playing so well and the game before on Jonnys throw he was unreal to make it 5-3 but then the next game on his throw he had a bad start and still could have taken it when Wade had the 118 left but that a stunning checkout from Wade under pressure coz if he didnt get that, Jonny would have won on the D8. When it went final leg i knew Wade would win but it was so close i was on my feet at the end coz they both had match darts before Wade finished it.

The did boo but that's ok, they're allowed to have favourites. There was only one instance of whistling that I caught. Main improvement was there was an actual fun atmosphere overall rather than a funeral when a non jock was playing like last week.

He was extremely close and i wanted him to win as well but with Wade having the darts in the final it was always going to be tough. He had a bad start to the game at 5-4 on his own throw and it cost him in the end.
