In my country Slovenija here we dont have players and here never play tournament. But I love how boath Lukes play and special final. MVG finaly win something. But Littler was future of darts, like MVG 10 years ago. Amazing matches. Fan from Slovenija. 👍👏🇸🇮

Nobody could believe it but it was as if nobody was watching the game but instead just chanted his name throughout the night. When the crowd dispersed, the chants carried on into every street, pub and club in Liverpool.

I find it weird to get two points for QF victory, only one for SF then again two for final.. Is it just me? Would be better 2-2-2 or even 1-2-3. It is a bigger deal to win the final than the first round.

That would result in huge point gaps in the table. When you win the first match, you're giving youself a chance to win more points, so I don't think giving more points for later rounds would help. I actually like that the system favours players who are capable of consistently winning the QF matches.

liddler is very special. The real measure of his age and maturity will come when he hits a bad run of results and it will come is to see if he can return to what we are seeing now. vangerwen has price has but Wright cant. some players cant but the greats can. for now littler is a pleasure to watch and he has no nerves whatsoever. how is that possible at 17. thats what makes him and humoheries unique they never get to emotional. darts have never been better but when all focus on littler its easy to forvet how brilliant humphries is

I imagine there was a bit of fatigue with Luke having just played 22 legs over two matches. I like the kid a lot though. The maturity he’s shown through this meteoric rise in such a short time is incredible. Meanwhile MVG is going bananas hitting a double 10 on his third dart.
