Great video, but the 88 against MVG wasn't a miscount. He wanted the single to leave the bull, he just fluked it into the double, which helped him because it left D18 instead

I actually think he did it on purpose, because with 64 and 68 left it makes sense to aim closer to the double because hitting the double leaves D16 or D18, but going for the treble might leave D7 or D11.

That 88 finish is not a miscount. Although he should have gone T20 with the first dart, he went for T16 to leave D20. He missed and was lucky to hit T8 which left him 64. He probably went for a 14 in order to leave the Bull but got the double (accidentally or not, it's not a miscount) and then went for D18 as he had to. Don't see any miscounting here.

I don't think he miscounted on the 88 for the Euro Tour title. He missed the T16, had 64 left and went for the big 14. He accidentally hit the double and then had 36 left. Might be giving him the benefit of the doubt here but tha's what it looks like to me

I think he made the error when subtracting the 16. To start with Triple-16 for 36 rest when you have 84 would be ok. But then you'd have 68 when hitting the single and he must have thought 58 at that moment.
