Absolute favourite tournament of the year love it. They need to get camera on the crowd find the whistlers and kick them out plus the players and ref should stop all play until they are booted - these pricks are ruining great games of darts

Should be 8 nations less with no nation being seeded in round two, then groups of four nations with two of them passing group stage. Its a shame for nations like New Zealand and Japan to fail, they deserve better.

Removing nations from this tournament won't do much good for the growth of the sport. On top of that, your suggested format adds another session of 12 groupstage (non-elimination) games to the World Cup. I'm sure if it was profitable, PDC would go for that. But they don't, which shows that your suggestion might not be that good. I get your point, though, I feel bummed for NZ and Japan too.

@@thecat5497 Leonard would have been a better choice than Van Dongen. Lauby can be great when he is on, but he wasn't. Problem is it goes by PDC Order of Merit. Lauby and Van Dongen play in Europe more than Gates and have a better chance at qualifying money. Right now Lauby is 102, Van Dongen is 139, and Gates 140. He missed it by 500 Euro. Painful.
