What a great player. Brett always got himself in the right areas and he knew where the goal was. Some of his headed goals were sublime. I was there at Wycombe last year and that free kick was top class. I totally understand his decision to move on. This is another example of a player falling out of favour with Kenny and not getting enough time on the pitch. In a crucial must win play off semi final match he's not even put on the bench. Why would you do that to one of our best prolific strikers. WHY? We lost Conor Chaplin due to mismanagement and now Brett. When are we going to learn? It's ludicrous. Sad to see you go Brett, you've been brilliant. All the best mate.

The reason why Pompey are spending 'another' season in League 1 - what the hell are you doing Jacket? leaving a sriker of such ability on the bench (if he was lucky_) or lounging around at home and not even in the matchday squad. A very bad call on your part I'm afraid - obviously a conflict of personalities here I suspect but every manager should always pick the strongest team! You owe it to the Club and the fans. You failed! Current striker lineup is pretty pathetic. Just think, if Pitman had been in the side on Monday that flop haired loanee wouldn't have had to take a penatly and miss!!! Pitman would have buried it and kept us in with a shot. A new manager for Pompey should be found as soon as possible and give us all a break from another season of medoricity.

Plenty of vital goals from Pitman and a shame his time has come to an end. Jackett doesn't like attacking players, letting Chaplin go was his worst mistake. Jackett is a total failure and simply needs booting out. It would lift the mood of the supporters no end.

Had the best year out of him that first season. Legs going and multiple reports of a bad attitude and clashes with all coaching staff shame he's gone though. Be good for a league two club or someone just promoted.
