is rr blue yama. is he jumpin the gun or is he that fast. how do you tell with a flag? i did motox back in the day and u get stuck in the gate. i seen a great jump from him a few times

The trick with dead engine starts is how u prep yourself to turn the engine over. I 100% prefer a kickstart on dead engine starts, the bike just lights faster then e-start. With a kickstart i would prop my leg up on the gas tank and rest my foot on the kicker so i didnt have to really balance. Believe me it sucks when you’re just standing with your foot on the kicker and lose ur balance and end up dead last off the start because it happened while the flag was dropping. You pretty much just watch for the slightest twitch in the flag droppers hand. I would watch those digits like a hawk and as soon as i saw movement in the wrist i kicked it and dropped the hammer. In the last 2 years of me racing i holeshotted 50% of the time and got an at least 3rd or 4th place start the rest of the time
