that was an awesome one, I agree with Rob on everything and I feel like him. It is also the first time I listen to you guys, and few times I needed to watch the show to be sure that it was not Ricky Gervais, Rob sounds like him a lot!

O Great Mothers! Was it just a couple of weeks back you were threatening to deprive me of my insomnia cure by not doing any more of these _loooong_ rambling vids? Praise and thanks for coming back, impressive consistency. _The Acolyte._ Ugh. It's unlikely to please OT fans of discernment. Let's face it, SW now truly only lives in the past. _Andor,_ though magnificent, is a flash in the pan, (maybe the swan-song we deserve,) and the lady (KK) is not for turning. I'm not completely OK with that like Great-Mother Clarkee, though. But the rot started when Lucas got rid of Gary Kurtz, back in the early 80s. That's when GL went to the dark side and turned into everything he'd hated. He broke faith with the original fans who'd allowed him to become the billionaire control-freak he dreamed of being, and he allowed his greed and narcissism to damage and diminish something fine and beautiful. The slide into pointless mediocrity since then has been inexorable. What we have today is simply the natural outcome. C'est la vie.

I am really not sure why people do not like the Acolyte. I am enjoying it and think it is differently Star Wars in its prequel vide. Oh, I also have to state I saw Star Wars in 1978 when I was 13, so I have seen it all.

100%, kids are not invested in Star Wars anymore and it’s not as attractive as it used to be. For whatever reason. Kids rather watch marvel or other franchises, basically Disney is destroying its own property with its other properties. Star Wars from its original conception was about “war,” it’s in its name, that’s something Disney has put on their board as something “Star Wars” isn’t about anymore. I was born in 1990. Star Wars to me was a legacy franchise. It transcended for decades after it finished. I had the toys and everything, especially when the prequels came out, I got into all the merch/toys as well. Over the years the content, from the video games and clone wars. Majority of all the incredible/memorable scenes of Star Wars, besides the Jedi/lightsaber acts, was the vast grand military battles. The reason why rogue one was great, besides adequate writing, was that it was a war. You see squadrons, spec ops, strategy, using historical battles/people as blueprints, etc. War, as terrible of a concept it is in the real world, it’s a fundamental part in Star “WARS.” Somehow that got me into Star Wars, hence the reason I have collected everything of RS props. Idk, I have to agree what is Star Wars being made for? it’s hard to be invested or support anything of Star Wars lately.
