Libraries are considered safe places for unescorted children. At the same time they seem to be overwhelmingly run by Karen’s. If they treat cameras like this I fear the authority they exhibit over children. Children are an image of their community.

I have two degrees 1979 -1985 and I walked into our local Library asking for stories on tape. The older Librarian lectured me for being illiterate in front of shock people around me. I couldn't speak from the shock and ignorance. But, I learned that day which is why illiterate people hide from shame and ridicule. The Jehovah's witness church cries out when they see auditors with camera's. " OH THE CHILDREN !! " The reality is that children that are now grown are now suing the church because the church had a policy to hide sexual abuse from the Police -----> which is a crime. So , I am suspicious of people that try to weaponize children.

The federal FOI Act doesn’t apply to non-federal agencies. It literally states in the act that it only applies to federal agencies and not state and local agencies. That’s why it is very difficult to get records in some states and very easy in others. That's why there are different fees, different allowable response times, different appeal processes, in each state. Also, theres’s no power granted to Congress under Article I Section 8 to regulate state record keeping. That’s why we are at the mercy of the state legislature when it comes to state and local records access.
