Lol it's funny you say that. I was trying to join the marines and I called a few recruiters but they didnt pick up either. Lol i finally found one and i went to the office and i said i wanted some info from all the branches before I make a decision, he was like "if you ain't trying to be a marine then get out my office" and then BOOM, Army. 😂

I had the opposite experience. The marines were the only ones to answer their door when I pressed the call button. I had no desire to enlist in the Marines, but they showed me their book full of stuff they’ve done while in the Marine Corp. The Navy wouldn’t talk to me unless I signed and was head on. My recruiter hasn’t told me only thing about the Navy or his experience in the Navy and has apologized for messing up my paperwork a few times now, but I’m still enlisting in the Navy considering I’ll never see my recruiter again once I leave for Great Lakes

The Marine recruiter I spoke to was nice I actually scored pretty well on the test/practice asvab don't think I would fair well now not having been out of school for a while but I eventually decided for reasons at the time that the Military wasn't for me now I've been having second thoughts and have been watching a lot of videos lately one of the only things holding me back is that it has to be a clear decision once you sign their is no turning back if you realize it wasn't for you unless you fail boot camp but in my opinion what did you join for then.

How many days a year do you like coming home. She said 45 days is the most you can do. I only ask because I have a hotrod I like to go to track and race (car on my channel) I love driving and feel like if I’m on the ship 2-3 weeks at a time and I can’t come home and drive it I will get sad. But military life seems so adventurous especially the Navy and Air Force. I’m 24 right now and soon as I got out of high school I started working at shops and getting my ASE certification ; but I can’t imagine myself working on cars for the next 30 years. I can’t join the AF because a quarter inch of tattoo shows on my chest (they had me try on a button up AF shirt).

I still want to serve so the car can always be put to the side (it’s just a toy)but We actually have similar stories the navy seems really interested in me and I sat and talked with NCO for a good hour or two and took a 30 min practice asvab and scored a 37. I even ended up flirting with the recruiter lol(not advised but she was beautiful). She even introduced me to the Air Force people because I said that was my first decision seeing as there jobs deal with aircraft and such and would be easier and cheaper for me to get my AP license and work on fixed wing or jets when I get out .but like I said they have a zero tolerance for tattoos showing outside my chest area about a quarter of an inch but I’m going I try a different AF recruiter around here and see what he thinks.Thank you for your service as well . If your ever in Atlanta bro you should come to caffeine and octane on the first Sunday of every month over by perimeter mall it would be cool to meet you !

i talked to an army recruiter first and a navy recruiter was half ass trying to get me to join but he wasn’t even like telling me about the navy or anything to convince me to join it but my army recruiter was taking me to the office, testing, meps, allat. i ended up not joining but now a year later i’m bout to join the navy from a different recruiter. i did my own research and i have a friend in the navy telling me about it.
