Since yesterday I had an ache in my heart after seeing JUST THE NAME of someone I dealt with on IG. Mind you that person has been out of sight and out of mind to me prior to that. I prayed and God redirected my mind to focus on the sermon but once I got home from church my thoughts weighed me down attempting to weaken my faith. This morning I prayed a powerful prayer and not long after I was led to this video. I didn’t even know he was a Pastor. I’ve known of him by my 2 favorite songs “Thank You” and “I Need You Now”. Nevertheless, God heard my cry, knew my heart and came through on his word. Glory to God! 🙌🏾

Whew!!!! This popped up for me in June 2024. When I tell you it is the rhema word I prayed for!! Depression is dangerous and hearing this word reminds me that some of the instances that triggered the negative thinking that encouraged depression is partly because my heart has been indiscriminately open.... vigilant, not closed but discerning.

I know that this message was sent by God. I've been hurt several times by church folks and I'm a minister I've forgiven and moved forward, but it happened again by the most unlikely person, now I'm dealing with hurt feelings and wanting to walk away, this message gave me the lifeline that I needed to Guard my heart and get out of my feelings. I have more of an understanding then ever before, my feelings are valid but I have to learn how to master them.
