I watch Darren compete before on TV he is def strong no doubt but wen it came to atlas stones he was to short for fist stone and was having to lift it overhead wen all other guys just got it up to there chest and put it on the barrel, it was a shame Darren is definitely a strong mutha fukr he would have done well if he was say 6,2 not 5,8 which I would say that's average well in Glasgow anyway.

Giants live - top 3 greatest strongman of all time 1. Eddie Hall 2. Eddie “The Beast” Hall 3. Edward Hall
@GiantsLiveSTRONGMAN2 жыл бұрын
Im guessing by your name on KZbin you are a massive Eddie Hall fan? We also see Eddie as a great strongman - but im not sure he would make our top 3, but he wouldn't be too far off. Perhaps if he had competed with more success for another year or two it would have cemented him in the top 3 of our list.

Hey guys - hope you enjoy this full TV show, it was a great battle between three returning BSM winners in Terry Hollands, Laurence Shaqhlaei and Ed Hall. Although the show is obviously British focused, at that point in time the British Championships was no doubt a contest of the highest quality and top 5 at the Brits meant you were amongst the very top strongmen in the World. Note: There is one guest from Cuba - Freddy Gonzalez. AND thanks to Jack Hillman for pointing out that Eddie Hall's bodyweight was close to 31stone or over 190kg, aka way over 400lbs in bodyweight. So pretty massive... Though Freddy Gonzales 'El Gigante' was in the same ballpark - An official weight for Freddy wasn't taken.

Eddie hall is brand ambassador of giant's live
@GiantsLiveSTRONGMAN2 жыл бұрын
not actually true, but Eddie certainly has remained as a friend to most of the strongman world despite doing other ventures. We are very pleased he put in so much in to being his best at many of our biggest giants live contests. His phenomenal abilities have in part helped build the momentum strongman enjoys now. So no he isnt a brand ambassador but all strongman at the top level who come through giants live are apart of greater family of strongmen. Obviously some more than others make big impressions and Eddie at his best clearly made a mark,. Eddie, indeed still comes to almost every every Giants Live show but not in any official capacity - indeed many former strongmen do the same. Their presence at the big contests is very much appreciated by the crowds and more importantly the next generation of athletes. Hope that answers your statement
