When shakedowns get that large, it's worth doing consecutive shakedowns by sector and shared to let the temp drop in between, rather than one big one, which you can automate with the filter. It lets you set by sector, and saving the sector search doesn't overwrite the settings for other sectors that you've already saved. When you increase punishments in policy, you directly negatively impact reoffending because solitary has higher suppression than lockup, and minor infringements are being punished harshly, so more prisoners are suppressed more of the time. This reduces their concentration to appalling so if you pick a prisoner in a program, you'll see their chance of success plummets below their attendance. I'd anticipate within 5 in-game days of that change (ie by day 85), all other things being equal, your reoffending rate will be close to 40. A prisoner in solitary is fully suppressed, ignoring traits, in 2.25 hours, and none of their other needs are being met while they're in there. It takes a full in-game day to lose that suppression effect, assuming they don't get additional suppression within that time. A prisoner in lockdown is fully suppressed in 4 hours 50 minutes. These suppression rates double (they're twice as fast) if Rita is your warden, and suppression reduces more slowly as well. Your punishment score will "improve," but that's not necessarily a good thing. You'd expect DR and SM to be a 9 or 10, not med. Max should come in around 7 or 8. Med around 4-6, and min 1-3. Your DR inmate's reoffending rate increases the prison average if they fail DR parole (it only decreased because they were exed. There was no reformation). If they pass, you can target reducing it. Because it begins so high, reducing it has s significant impact on the prison average. You're punishing the whole prison because an inmate *arrived* with a high reoffending rate. TLDR: your addicts are failing the pharmacological program because your punishments for drug-related misdemeanours stop them passing the course.

I found another tip while looking up the values for the other comment. The wellfed status effect improves your health score but also reduces misbehaviour chances. This we know. Here are the durations of the effect: med-high or high-med: 1.5 hrs after they finish eating high-high: 3 hrs after they finish eating. This means to have the maximum effect on your prison gradings, they should not eat right before sleeping. Time the eat slot so that you get the full 1.5 or 3 hours of well-fed buff with them doing stuff: a late work/program slot, yard time, shower time, or even regime lockup.

Adding bunk beds to each cell would double the amount of prisoners you can have, you can complete the Cell Block D grand that way

Yep, snitch sorter and you need to put a device in the reception, I was about to say get it in case that happens again, I know it's late in the series for it

I agree. You've shown the main functions for how you _would_ find a snitch etc per intake, so in the interests of not repeating the same thing over and over whilst recording, I think this and future series as entertainment would benefit. A quick reminder when starting a new prison, and then the snitch sorter from there-on.

@RustyWalker yeah, it may take a while to build the protective custody but if he builds a 'Temporary Permanent' holding cell for them then it's fine

Maybe add some items to the Yards to finish it out.

Have you connected the protective custody doors to the door control?

No point in keeping the stepping stones if you got the ferry
