I keep wondering how long I can survive the thoughts of unaliving. Music helps though. Thanks for always putting everything into your music Tim. I think I somewhat understand what its like being a musician and how vulnerable you really need to be to make it successful. I wrecked my truck one night after driving drunk and royally screwed myself up, luckily no one else involved. Lost my legs and manhood from severe burns, broke dozens of bones etc. I shouldnt even be here but I am and tell my story publicy as much as I can in hopes of saving lives out there. It helps me to help others and in that aspect, I feel I can relate. Id really love to experience being up on a real stage sometime, though. I can only imagine how powerful that has to be.

I hope that Tim Montana reads this: I saw you live with Seether and Staind - I caught 2 songs - and thought you put on a phenomenal show. However, when I went to your albums, I expected to find rock with a country influence - and I found country with a rock influence... I do think there's a scene to jump into with country-rock, but I don't think that country listeners are going to be the bulk of your audience. Here's what I mean: my country friends think that your music is too much for them to enjoy. They just want to sit down in their truck and drink beer while they listen to something generic - they don't want to think about their life, they want to do the opposite. My rock friends, think this has too much of a country influence, and it makes it feel awkward. However - both sides can agree that Jerry Cantrell's "Atone" is one of the best songs they've ever heard. THAT is the vibe you should try to match in your next album. Don't go too hard in either direction. Other examples of songs split pretty well down the middle include: Days of the New's "Fighting with Clay" and Alice in Chains "What the hell have I" ...I can't tell you how to do this, but I can tell you that it's what I think will really set you on your way. Anyways.. You've got a lot of talent, Tim Montana.
