I use Life all the time to get intersting perc / top loops. It's been such a big help. I hate doing perc stuff, because i'm really bad at it doing it by hand. This really, really helps me. Thanks for your tutorial :) I'll need to try the melodic stuff too.

With plugins like these which gives you "unique" and high quality grooves in seconds, i wonder what what will feel new and fresh in the next couple of years of electronic music... Cause now everyone can make cool grooves, as you said you basically made a fourtet tune in no time, but what comes after all this... Its cool to see how you can bend the plugins in new interesting ways but im more interested in what will feel new and exciting in electronic music when everyone has this under their fingertips... If you like Life, you should check out Orbit by ADSR. Its a MIDI sequencer like Life and you can even do some shenanigans with randomness. I think it would be right up your alley!
