In Canada, donating your body to science is handled by programs administered by the government. But as W5's Sandie Rinaldo investigates, there is a dark corner of the body business, where body parts are sold for profit in the U.S. and brought into Canada.

People interested in donating either their bodies, or a relatives to "science", including universities & teaching hospitals, need to do some research on how the remains are going to be used, disposed of, because the process differs from facility to facility, and potential donors may find out it's not as they were envisioning.
